Battlefield REDSEC is Battlefield 6’s big free-to-play Battle Royale spin-off — and it’s not just a side mode. It runs on the same account, shares almost all progression with Battlefield 6, and uses the same class system, weapons, destruction, and chaos you get in the main game. You drop into Fort Lyndon with up to 100 players, fight over contracts and vehicles, survive a deadly fire circle that instantly kills anyone caught in it, and use your class tools to squeeze out those clutch wins.

Progression in Battlefield 6 is deeper and more interconnected than in any previous game in the series. Every match you play pushes multiple XP tracks at once—your career rank, your class level, your weapon attachments, your Battle Pass rewards, and even your REDSEC progress. Because all these systems are linked, small optimizations add up fast. Playing the right modes, sticking to a consistent weapon, completing dailies and weeklies, and focusing on objective-based XP can easily double your progression speed.

Vehicles shape the entire flow of Battlefield 6. Tanks punch open lanes, IFVs escort squads through brutal chokepoints, AA vehicles control the skies, and helicopters or jets punish teams that rotate without cover. When you understand how each vehicle works, how they win fights, and how to counter them, the whole game becomes easier.
