Granblue Relink Terminus Weapons Guide

Terminus Weapons were the ultimate chase weapons in the original Granblue Fantasy: Relink endgame, and Endless Ragnarok has completely changed how players obtain and develop them. The old Proto Bahamut RNG grind is no longer your only path.

What Are Terminus Weapons?

Terminus Weapons are one of Granblue Fantasy: Relink's highest-end weapon families.

In the original game, they were the defining reward from the Proud quest The Tale of Bahamut's Rage, where players fight Proto Bahamut.

Their defining trait was Catastrophe.

A traditional Terminus Weapon provides:

  • Very high base ATK.

  • Damage Cap.

  • Sigil Booster.

  • Regen.

  • The Catastrophe trait.

Current Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki data lists the classic fully developed pre-Transcendence Terminus profile at 6,085 ATK and only 99 base HP, with Catastrophe providing a massive offensive bonus when the character remains below the required maximum-HP threshold.

Catastrophe Explained

Catastrophe is exclusive to Terminus Weapons.

At Trait Level 25, it activates when your maximum HP is 45,000 or lower and provides:

  • ATK +50%.

  • Damage Cap +100%.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Catastrophe Trait.

That HP restriction shaped almost every serious original Relink endgame build.

Players deliberately kept their maximum HP low enough to maintain Catastrophe because losing that effect meant sacrificing an enormous amount of damage.

Endless Ragnarok eventually changes this through Terminus Transcendence, but understanding Catastrophe is still important because it explains why an ordinary awakened Terminus Weapon behaves very differently from other weapon families.

How to Unlock Terminus Weapons

The traditional Terminus system becomes relevant once you reach Proud difficulty and unlock The Tale of Bahamut's Rage.

This quest has an advised PWR of 19,000 and requires defeating Proto Bahamut.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — The Tale of Bahamut's Rage.

Originally, this was effectively the Terminus grind:

  • Defeat Proto Bahamut.

  • Hope a Terminus Weapon drops.

  • Repeat.

  • Hope the drop belongs to the character you actually wanted.

Endless Ragnarok changes that dramatically.

Ultimate Memory Changed the Terminus Grind

The biggest quality-of-life change is Ultimate Memory.

Cygames officially added Ultimate Memory in Ver. 2.0.2 as a treasure that can be taken to the blacksmith and used to forge Terminus Weapons directly.

Cygames confirms that Ultimate Memory is obtainable from:

  • The Final Report

  • The Tale of Bahamut's Rage

The ability to forge Terminus Weapons at the blacksmith becomes available after clearing The Tale of Bahamut's Rage.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

This effectively creates a pity system.

You can still receive a Terminus Weapon directly as loot, but bad RNG no longer means endlessly farming Proto Bahamut with no control over which character gets their weapon.

How Many Ultimate Memories Do You Need?

The current in-game forging recipe requires 10 Ultimate Memories for one applicable Terminus Weapon.

This is consistently reflected in current player reports and current game-data tooling.

Community source: Granblue Fantasy: Relink Steam discussions — current Ultimate Memory forging discussion.

That means every Proto Bahamut clear is making measurable progress even if the exact Terminus Weapon you want does not drop.

Best Ultimate Memory Farm

Ultimate Memory comes from both Bahamut Versa and Proto Bahamut content, but the reward quantities are not identical.

The Final Report

The current community-maintained quest data lists Ultimate Memory bundles from The Final Report, the Proud Bahamut Versa encounter.

Its clear-reward pool currently contains:

  • 1 Ultimate Memory at the common rate.

  • 2 Ultimate Memories at the less common rate.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — The Final Report reward data.

This makes The Final Report useful if your party is not yet comfortable farming Proto Bahamut efficiently.

The Tale of Bahamut's Rage

Proto Bahamut is much more attractive once you can clear it consistently.

Current quest data records an Ultimate Memory reward bundle of:

  • 4 Ultimate Memories.

  • 5 Ultimate Memories.

  • 6 Ultimate Memories.

with 4 being the most common result.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — The Tale of Bahamut's Rage reward data.

That makes Proto Bahamut the natural targeted route for forging classic Terminus Weapons.

Two or three successful clears will normally give enough Ultimate Memories for one 10-Memory forge even if the weapon itself never drops.

Terminus Weapons Can Still Drop Directly

The Ultimate Memory system did not make the original drop route irrelevant.

Current reward data for The Tale of Bahamut's Rage still includes Terminus Weapons among its weapon rewards.

The quest's weapon chest contains individual Terminus drops such as:

  • Seven-Star Sword.

  • Blutgang.

  • Freikugel.

  • Caduceus.

  • Draconic Fire.

  • Dagger of Bahamut Coda.

  • Ethereal Lasher.

  • Damascus Knife.

  • Mjolnir.

  • Gottfried.

  • Balmung.

  • Galatine.

  • Swordfish.

  • Ameno Habakiri.

  • Sky Piercer.

  • Gae Bulg.

  • Ereshkigal.

  • Zosimos.

  • Sword of Bahamut.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — The Tale of Bahamut's Rage drop data.

This produces a much healthier farming loop.

You can get lucky and receive the weapon naturally.

If you do not, Ultimate Memory continues building toward the exact forge you want.

Endless Ragnarok Characters and Terminus Weapons

Endless Ragnarok complicates the Terminus system slightly because not every newer character follows exactly the same forging route.

Current community testing separates the newer roster into two groups.

Ultimate Memory Characters

Current players report that characters including Beatrix, Eustace, Gallanza, and Maglielle use the normal Ultimate Memory-style Terminus route.

Their Terminus Weapons can therefore be obtained through the broader Terminus system rather than relying on the special Conflux-only Mythic Artifact route.

Community source: Granblue Fantasy: Relink Steam discussion — Terminus Weapons for new characters.

Mythic Artifact Characters

A second group uses Mythic Artifacts obtained through the Conflux.

Community testing identifies:

  • Seofon.

  • Tweyen.

  • Sandalphon.

  • Fraux.

  • Fediel.

as using this special route.

For Seofon, Tweyen, and Sandalphon, Cygames officially confirms the Mythic Artifact requirement.

Their Terminus Weapons are:

  • Seofon — Sword of Eternal Splendor

  • Tweyen — Bow of Eternal Splendor

  • Sandalphon — Efes

Cygames states that the required Mythic Artifact is obtainable from Conflux Cycle 4.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

Fraux and Fediel using the same Cycle 4 Mythic Artifact reward pool is based on current player testing rather than the specific official weapon table, so that distinction is worth keeping clear.

Community source: Steam community discussion — Fediel Terminus Weapon acquisition.

How to Get Mythic Artifacts

Progress the Conflux until Cycle 4: Illusion becomes available.

One of its special reward bundles provides the Mythic Artifacts required for the applicable Terminus Weapons.

This is not the same thing as Ultimate Memory.

If you are attempting to forge Fediel, Fraux, Seofon, Tweyen, or Sandalphon's Terminus Weapon and cannot find it in the Ultimate Memory forge list, do not keep farming Proto Bahamut expecting Ultimate Memory to solve the problem.

Progress Cycle 4 instead.

Cygames directly confirms Cycle 4 as the source of the Mythic Artifact required by the officially listed new Terminus weapons.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

Awakening Terminus Weapons

Obtaining the weapon is only the beginning.

The original Terminus progression involves fully upgrading the weapon and then awakening it through multiple stages.

Current weapon material data records a ten-stage awakening process for classic Terminus Weapons.

These stages consume materials from numerous Proud and endgame encounters.

Common requirements include:

  • Exceptional Refinium.

  • Protocol Fiber.

  • Reality Thorn.

  • Terror Urn.

  • Mana Circuit.

  • Nihilla Cores.

  • Nihilla-specific boss materials.

  • Chronos Core.

  • Lunary Cell.

  • Horn of Bahamut.

  • Silver Centrum.

  • Legendary Merit.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Weapon material database.

Before Endless Ragnarok, completing this process could involve a lot of individual quest farming.

That is no longer the most efficient approach.

Conflux Cycle 3 Makes Terminus Awakening Easier

One of the biggest catch-up improvements comes from Conflux Cycle 3: Procession.

The Conflux reward database contains a treasure set literally called:

Terminus's Awakening

Its description states that it contains treasure for awakening Terminus Weapons.

The current reward bundle includes large quantities of materials such as:

  • Exceptional Refinium.

  • Mana Circuit.

  • Divinity Shackle.

  • Furycane Nihilla Core.

  • Nihilla-Cast Sword.

  • Lunary Detector.

  • Managarmr Nihilla Core.

  • Nihilla Horn of Disdain.

  • Chronos Core.

  • Vulkan Bolla Nihilla Core.

  • Nihilla-Fused Dark Plasma.

  • Lunary Cell.

  • Horn of Bahamut.

  • Protocol Fiber.

  • Reality Thorn.

  • Terror Urn.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Conflux Cycle rewards.

This is one of the most important pieces of advice for returning players:

Do not automatically farm every old awakening material one quest at a time.

Check Cycle 3 first.

Cygames also officially reduced the amount of certain materials required to awaken Terminus Weapons in Ver. 2.0.2.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

The combination of lower requirements and targeted Conflux bundles makes Terminus awakening dramatically easier than it was during the original Relink endgame.

Should You Awaken a Terminus Weapon Before Endless Ragnarok?

Yes—but with an important qualification.

A fully awakened classic Terminus Weapon remains extremely useful for:

  • Proud progression.

  • Unlocking Endless Ragnarok.

  • Early Chaos encounters.

  • Building toward its later Transcendence.

  • Weapon collection progression.

However, do not assume an awakened but non-transcended Terminus remains your strongest weapon throughout the entire expansion.

This is one of the biggest traps for returning players.

Why Terminus Temporarily Falls Behind in Endless Ragnarok

Endless Ragnarok added Weapon Transcendence.

Cygames confirms that every weapon except bonus weapons can now be transcended after it has been fully upgraded.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

Different weapon families gain powerful new traits.

For example:

  • Defender gains DMG Cap Ecru.

  • Stinger gains DMG Cap Cobalt.

  • Executioner gains DMG Cap Cardinal.

  • Stunner gains DMG Cap Sage.

  • Ascension gains Supernova.

  • Terminus eventually gains Catastrophe Nova.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Weapon-exclusive Traits.

The important issue is timing.

You can begin transcending several ordinary weapons before you unlock the strongest Terminus Transcendence progression.

That means a transcended Stinger, Defender, or Ascension Weapon can temporarily become substantially stronger than your old awakened Terminus Weapon.

Current Endless Ragnarok players consistently report progression roughly resembling:

Transcended Stinger or Defender → Transcended Ascension → Transcended Terminus

Community source: GranblueFantasyRelink Reddit — current Endless Ragnarok weapon progression discussions.

This does not mean Terminus Weapons became obsolete.

It means Terminus has a second endgame waiting later.

Terminus Transcendence

Once you reach the required late Endless Ragnarok progression, Terminus Weapons can themselves be transcended.

This is where they become extremely powerful again.

The key material is:

Ragnite (Terminus)

The Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki describes Ragnite (Terminus) as rare material specifically used to transcend Terminus Weapons.

It is obtained primarily from high-end Chaos++ and Infinite / Defy Infinity quests.

Confirmed current sources include:

  • The Not Forgotten Sky.

  • The Myths Are Real.

  • In the Wrong Hands.

  • The Tempest Rises.

  • Reclusive Vengeance.

  • Four Dragons of the Apocalypse.

  • Rock Around the Clock.

  • An Act of Automagod.

  • Beneath Primeval Wings.

  • Eternal Pride.

  • On the Threshold of The World.

  • On the Threshold of Chaos.

  • On the Threshold of Finality.

  • On the Threshold of Destruction.

  • On the Threshold of Provenance.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Ragnite (Terminus).

This is why you should not expect to finish a Terminus Weapon immediately after entering Endless Ragnarok.

Its true modern form belongs much deeper into the endgame.

Catastrophe Nova

Transcending Terminus eventually upgrades the weapon's defining mechanic from Catastrophe into Catastrophe Nova.

This is a massive improvement.

The current trait data records Catastrophe Nova scaling through higher trait levels.

At its maximum listed Trait Level 35, it activates at up to 200,000 maximum HP and grants:

  • ATK +70%.

  • Damage Cap +500%.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Catastrophe Nova Trait.

Compare that to the old Catastrophe:

  • 45,000 HP limit.

  • ATK +50%.

  • Damage Cap +100%.

The difference is enormous.

Modern Terminus no longer requires living permanently at the extremely fragile 45,000-HP threshold once Catastrophe Nova is sufficiently developed.

That is why old base-game Terminus builds should not be confused with finished Endless Ragnarok Terminus builds.

Unbound Master

Fully developed Terminus Weapons also gain another unique trait:

Unbound Master

This increases Damage Cap according to the character's Master Level.

The current trait database lists Unbound Master scaling to Master Level 55 for a maximum Damage Cap +50% effect.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Weapon-exclusive Traits.

This creates direct synergy between two of Endless Ragnarok's largest progression systems:

  • Weapon Transcendence.

  • Master Traits.

Your character's Master Level is therefore contributing not only through Master Trait slots and Style Perks but also through the finished Terminus Weapon itself.

What a Fully Transcended Terminus Looks Like

Katalina's current Blutgang data provides a useful example of the fully developed modern Terminus profile.

The current weapon database lists her transcended Terminus with:

  • 20,583 ATK

  • 1,159 HP

  • Catastrophe Nova Lv. 35.

  • A swappable Trait 2.

  • Damage Cap Lv. 15.

  • Sigil Booster Lv. 1.

  • Unbound Master Lv. 55.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Katalina / Blutgang current weapon data.

That is a completely different weapon from the original 6,085-ATK Catastrophe version players remember from Relink's launch-era endgame.

Swappable Terminus Traits

Transcended weapons also provide more build flexibility.

Current Terminus weapon data shows the secondary trait as swappable.

Available examples include:

  • Enmity.

  • Stamina.

  • Tyranny.

  • Combo Booster.

  • Overdrive Assassin.

  • Guard Payback.

  • Glass Cannon.

  • Drain.

  • Nimble Defense.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Current Terminus weapon data.

This means the weapon no longer forces exactly the same secondary utility onto every build.

Do Not Automatically Choose Tyranny

This is especially important in Endless Ragnarok.

Tyranny was a common old Relink choice because damage was difficult to cap without enough raw attack.

Endless Ragnarok introduces so many new offensive sources that raw ATK can become excessive.

Use Sir Barrold's updated training display.

Cygames added the ability to see your attacks as a percentage of current Damage Cap.

When your percentage reaches 100% or higher, Cygames specifically recommends increasing Damage Cap rather than continuing to add attack.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

If you are already dealing 200–300% of the attack power necessary to cap an attack, stacking another offensive trait may provide virtually no real damage.

A comfort trait such as Drain or Nimble Defense may be worth more.

Best Ragnite Terminus Farms

Early Chaos++ gives you several Ragnite sources.

Late Defy Infinity quests are much richer.

For example, current community-maintained quest data for On the Threshold of Finality records significant Ragnite (Terminus) rewards from both rank rewards and treasure chests.

Depending on the reward slot, drops can reach quantities such as:

  • 20 Ragnite.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — On the Threshold of Finality.

Other Threshold quests provide similar endgame Terminus material pools.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — On the Threshold of The World, Chaos, Destruction, and Provenance.

This means the most efficient Ragnite route changes with progression.

Do not farm a slow early Chaos++ quest forever once Defy Infinity becomes comfortable.

Higher-end encounters can provide Terminus Ragnite alongside:

  • Daybreak Merit.

  • Silver Centrum.

  • Grand Refinium III.

  • Celestial Sigils.

  • Fatebreaker Sigils.

  • Berserker Echo.

  • Spartan Echo.

  • Summons.

  • MSP.

That is much better account-wide value.

Should You Build Terminus for Every Character?

Eventually, yes if your goal is full account completion.

Immediately, no.

A fully awakened and fully transcended Terminus Weapon is a major material investment.

Prioritize:

  • Your main character.

  • Your most-used damage dealer.

  • Important AI companions.

  • Characters you regularly use for Infinity content.

Then expand outward.

Build One Strong Party First

A common progression mistake is putting one Terminus level into ten characters while your actual four-person party remains incomplete.

You will progress faster by creating:

  • One excellent player-controlled main.

  • Three reliable AI builds.

Once that group can farm Chaos++ and Defy Infinity efficiently, resources for the rest of your roster become much easier to obtain.

Terminus or Stinger?

Stinger is one of the best early Endless Ragnarok alternatives.

Its Transcendence trait, DMG Cap Cobalt, scales through excess Critical Hit Rate.

At maximum level, the current trait data records substantial ATK and Damage Cap bonuses depending on how far above 100% Critical Hit Rate the build reaches.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Weapon-exclusive Traits.

Stinger is especially attractive because critical rate is easy to understand and control.

Use it when:

  • You have not unlocked Terminus Transcendence.

  • Your Stinger Transcendence is significantly ahead.

  • Your build naturally supports excess crit.

  • You need stronger early Chaos performance.

Terminus or Defender?

Defender becomes surprisingly powerful in Endless Ragnarok.

Its DMG Cap Ecru scales with high maximum HP.

That allows you to build a far tankier character while still gaining substantial ATK and Damage Cap.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Weapon-exclusive Traits.

This can be much more comfortable while learning Chaos and Chaos++.

An old Terminus may force you near 45,000 HP.

A transcended Defender build can push your HP much higher while still providing excellent offense.

For progression, surviving and attacking continuously often beats dying with a theoretically stronger weapon.

Terminus or Ascension?

Ascension Weapons become another major bridge to late endgame.

Their Transcendence effect, Supernova, provides unconditional ATK and Damage Cap rather than requiring specific crit, HP, weak-point, or Link conditions.

At maximum current values, Supernova reaches:

  • ATK +40%.

  • Damage Cap +350%.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Weapon-exclusive Traits.

Ascension also has a stronger Sigil Booster than Terminus in current fully transcended weapon data.

For example, Katalina's fully developed Murgleis has Sigil Booster Lv. 2, while Blutgang has Sigil Booster Lv. 1.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Katalina Weapon Data.

This makes Ascension an extremely useful late-progress weapon before Terminus Transcendence is fully developed.

Is Terminus Still the Best Weapon?

At full Endless Ragnarok investment, Terminus is one of the strongest raw-damage weapon endpoints available.

But saying it is automatically best for every character and every situation is too simplistic.

A fully transcended Terminus can offer:

  • Catastrophe Nova.

  • Massive Damage Cap.

  • High ATK.

  • Unbound Master.

  • Flexible secondary traits.

  • Sigil Booster.

  • Much higher allowed HP than the original Catastrophe build.

However, other weapon families offer unique advantages.

Defender can support enormous HP.

Stinger can reward excess crit.

Stunner can build around Link progression.

Executioner rewards weak-point and rear attacks.

Ascension provides strong unconditional scaling and Sigil Booster Lv. 2.

Terminus is the prestige damage endpoint—not a reason to stop understanding your character's weapon options.

Common Terminus Weapon Mistakes

Farming Proto Bahamut Until the Exact Weapon Drops

You no longer need to rely purely on RNG.

Collect Ultimate Memories and forge the desired weapon.

Forgetting the Blacksmith Unlock Requirement

Cygames states that Terminus forging becomes available after clearing The Tale of Bahamut's Rage.

Obtaining Ultimate Memory earlier does not automatically mean the forge option is already open.

Trying to Use Ultimate Memory for Every Character

Seofon, Tweyen, and Sandalphon officially use Mythic Artifacts for their new Terminus weapons.

Current community findings also place Fraux and Fediel on the Mythic Artifact route.

Farming Every Awakening Material Separately

Check Conflux Cycle 3's Terminus's Awakening treasure set first.

It can replace a large amount of old quest-by-quest grinding.

Keeping an Old Terminus Equipped Throughout Early Chaos

A non-transcended Terminus may fall behind your newly transcended Stinger, Defender, or Ascension weapon.

Compare actual stats and test with Sir Barrold.

Refusing to Awaken Terminus Because Another Weapon Is Currently Better

Do not confuse temporary progression with the final endpoint.

You may use Stinger or Ascension while progressing, but an awakened Terminus is still required before you can eventually develop the modern transcended Terminus.

Keeping HP Too Low After Catastrophe Nova Improves

The old Catastrophe mindset taught players that Terminus meant permanently staying under 45,000 HP.

Catastrophe Nova eventually raises the threshold massively.

Adjust your HP as the trait develops.

Stacking Too Much ATK

Check your damage-cap percentage.

More ATK is wasted when your important attacks are already excessively above their cap.

Farming Ragnite Too Early

Terminus Transcendence belongs to deep Endless Ragnarok progression.

Use the weapon path currently available instead of spending hours trying to force an endgame stage you have not efficiently reached yet.

Current Terminus Status in Ver. 2.0.6

The current official update is Ver. 2.0.6, released September 17, 2026.

That patch focused primarily on bug fixes and did not replace the Terminus Weapon progression introduced through the Endless Ragnarok updates.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.6 Update Information.

So the current Terminus structure remains:

  • Unlock Proud progression.

  • Clear The Tale of Bahamut's Rage.

  • Obtain direct Terminus drops or collect Ultimate Memory.

  • Forge applicable Terminus Weapons at the blacksmith.

  • Use Mythic Artifacts for special Conflux-route characters.

  • Fully upgrade and awaken the weapon.

  • Progress through Endless Ragnarok.

  • Temporarily use other transcended weapons when stronger.

  • Reach Chaos++ and Infinity content.

  • Farm Ragnite (Terminus).

  • Transcend the Terminus Weapon.

  • Develop Catastrophe Nova and Unbound Master.

FAQ

How do you get Terminus Weapons in Granblue Fantasy: Relink?

Classic Terminus Weapons can drop from The Tale of Bahamut's Rage against Proto Bahamut. Since Ver. 2.0.2, you can also collect Ultimate Memory and directly forge applicable Terminus Weapons after clearing that quest.

How many Ultimate Memories do I need for a Terminus Weapon?

The current forging recipe uses 10 Ultimate Memories for an applicable Terminus Weapon.

Where do Ultimate Memories drop?

Cygames officially lists The Final Report and The Tale of Bahamut's Rage as Ultimate Memory sources.

What is the fastest Ultimate Memory farm?

Proto Bahamut in The Tale of Bahamut's Rage provides much larger Ultimate Memory bundles than The Final Report once you can clear it efficiently.

Can Terminus Weapons still drop from Proto Bahamut?

Yes. Current reward data still records Terminus Weapons among The Tale of Bahamut's Rage weapon drops.

Where do I get the Terminus Weapon for Seofon?

Sword of Eternal Splendor uses a Mythic Artifact obtained from Conflux Cycle 4.

Where do I get Tweyen's Terminus Weapon?

Bow of Eternal Splendor uses a Mythic Artifact from Conflux Cycle 4.

Where do I get Sandalphon's Terminus Weapon?

Efes uses a Mythic Artifact from Conflux Cycle 4.

Does Fediel use Ultimate Memory?

Current community testing reports that Fediel instead uses the Mythic Artifact route associated with Cycle 4.

Does Fraux use Ultimate Memory?

Current community findings place Fraux on the same Mythic Artifact route rather than the standard Ultimate Memory route.

Where do I farm Terminus awakening materials?

Conflux Cycle 3 has a Terminus's Awakening treasure package containing many of the materials required for classic Terminus awakening.

Should I still farm a Terminus Weapon before Endless Ragnarok?

Yes. An awakened Terminus is extremely useful for Proud and early expansion progression and is eventually required for its own Transcendence. However, a transcended Stinger, Defender, or Ascension weapon may temporarily outperform it during the middle of Endless Ragnarok.

What is Ragnite Terminus?

Ragnite (Terminus) is a high-end material used for Terminus Weapon Transcendence. It drops primarily from Chaos++ and Infinity-tier encounters.

What does Catastrophe Nova do?

Catastrophe Nova is the advanced form of Terminus's signature trait. At its current maximum listed level, it allows up to 200,000 maximum HP while providing ATK +70% and Damage Cap +500%.

What is Unbound Master?

Unbound Master is a Terminus-exclusive Transcendence trait that increases Damage Cap based on Master Level, reaching up to +50% at the current maximum listed scaling.

Are Terminus Weapons still worth upgrading?

Yes. They temporarily lose their automatic best-in-slot status during early Transcendence progression, but a fully developed Terminus becomes one of the most powerful endgame weapon options available.

Conclusion

The Granblue Relink Terminus Weapon grind is dramatically better in Endless Ragnarok.

The original system depended heavily on Proto Bahamut RNG. You could clear The Tale of Bahamut's Rage repeatedly and still fail to get the weapon for your main character.

Ultimate Memory solves that problem.

Now every Bahamut clear provides progress toward a targeted weapon. Proto Bahamut can still drop Terminus Weapons directly, but collecting 10 Ultimate Memories gives you a reliable backup route for applicable characters. Conflux Cycle 3 then compresses much of the old awakening material grind, while Cycle 4 provides Mythic Artifacts for special Terminus routes such as Seofon, Tweyen, and Sandalphon.

The most important thing to understand is that obtaining an awakened Terminus is no longer the end of the weapon journey.

Once Endless Ragnarok begins, ordinary transcended weapons can temporarily overtake it. Stinger provides an easy offensive path. Defender offers much better survival. Ascension eventually becomes an extremely powerful progression weapon.

Then Terminus returns.

Chaos++ and Defy Infinity unlock Ragnite (Terminus), allowing the weapon to transcend into its modern form. Catastrophe evolves into Catastrophe Nova. The old 45,000-HP restriction expands enormously. Damage Cap climbs dramatically. Unbound Master rewards your Master Level, and swappable weapon traits give you more room to customize the final setup.

So the practical Terminus progression is straightforward:

Get the weapon. Awaken it efficiently. Do not force it during the middle of Endless Ragnarok if another transcended weapon is stronger. Then return to Terminus once you can build its true endgame form.

For players who want help progressing through difficult Relink bosses, weapon farming, or Endless Ragnarok content, BoostRoom can help you keep moving toward your finished endgame characters.
