How to Unlock Chaos
Chaos is tied directly to Endless Ragnarok progression.
Cygames' updated Ver. 2.0.2 requirements state that the Endless Ragnarok chapter becomes available after clearing both:
The earlier Endless Ragnarok information page highlighted Proto Bahamut as the key Chaos requirement, while the updated Ver. 2.0.2 patch information clarified that Cycle 3 of the Conflux is also required to begin the new chapter.
Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information and Unlocking New Story Content and The Conflux in Endless Ragnarok.
This distinction matters for returning players.
If you finished the original Relink story but stopped before Proto Bahamut, you still have some Proud progression to complete.
If you already defeated Proto Bahamut, the Conflux provides a much faster way to catch your equipment up than repeating every old grind.
Do You Need a Perfect Proud Build?
No.
You do not need:
Every Terminus Weapon.
Every awakened Terminus Weapon.
Perfect Lucilius Sigils.
Perfect Over Mastery.
Three Supplementary Damage V+ Sigils on every character.
A complete roster of min-maxed AI companions.
You need enough strength to clear the requirements.
Community players quickly found that entering Chaos as soon as they could reliably clear the unlock fight was often more efficient than spending dozens of additional hours completing old Proud-era farming.
Once Chaos opens, new Sigils, Ragnite, Weapon Transcendence, Master Traits, Summons, and stronger progression options rapidly change what an efficient character looks like.
Community source: GranblueFantasyRelink community discussion — “Chaos difficulty invalidates everything pre-Chaos difficulty unless you literally cannot do it.” The wording is deliberately exaggerated, but the underlying progression point is useful: do not overfarm old content when you are already strong enough to move forward.

Your First Chaos Quest
One of the earliest major Chaos encounters is A Trial of Two Eternities.
The current quest database lists:
Advised PWR: 23,000
The objective is to pass the trial presented by Seofon and Tweyen.
This fight is important because it acts as an early test of whether your Proud-era build can actually function in the new difficulty.
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — A Trial of Two Eternities.
Do Not Panic if the Fight Takes a Long Time
A slow first clear is still a clear.
This is one of the points where players often make a bad decision.
They enter Chaos.
The boss feels much tankier than Proud.
Their old Terminus setup feels fragile.
They immediately assume they need to return to Proud and farm another twenty hours.
Usually, that is not the answer.
If you can complete the fight, progressing deeper into Endless Ragnarok gives you access to the systems designed to make you stronger.
Progress first. Optimize when the game actually stops you.
What Changes in Chaos?
Chaos is not only a numerical difficulty increase.
Cygames describes Chaos as the new high-end quest tier built around the threat of the Ragnalia, powerful monsters connected to the chaos consuming Zegagrande.
Chaos progression also opens the core Endless Ragnarok combat ecosystem.
Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Systems.
The major changes include:
Fatebreaker progression.
Endless Ragnarok adds Fatebreaker as a new Skyfarer Grade. Many of the expansion's strongest systems are connected to reaching this grade.
Master Traits.
Level 100 characters can unlock Master Traits after reaching Fatebreaker. MSP raises Master Level and lets you equip more traits.
Summons.
Summons unlock after reaching Fatebreaker and completing the Summons tutorial. Up to four can be equipped.
Primal Bursts.
These expand Full Burst gameplay with Proto Bahamut and Excavallion-based attacks under the appropriate battle conditions.
New Sigils.
Cygames confirms that new Endless Ragnarok Sigils become available through Chaos-difficulty and higher quests.
Weapon Transcendence.
Fully upgraded weapons can be developed beyond their old limits.
Ragnite.
Different Ragnite types are used to transcend different weapon families.
These systems are why an old Proud build eventually stops being enough.
Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.
Chaos, Chaos+, and Chaos++ Explained
Endless Ragnarok does not stop with one Chaos tier.
The current quest structure contains:
Chaos
Chaos+
Chaos++
These difficulties gradually raise the expected character strength while expanding the reward pool and giving access to stronger weapon, Sigil, Master Trait, and endgame progression.
Current quest data starts Chaos around the low-20,000 PWR range, pushes Chaos+ considerably higher, and places many Chaos++ encounters above 32,000 PWR.
Eventually, Defy Infinity jumps to an advised PWR of approximately 45,000 for its major Threshold encounters.
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Current Quest Database.
Chaos
Chaos is your transition tier.
This is where you begin replacing the mindset of the original game with Endless Ragnarok progression.
Expect to obtain:
Fatebreaker Sigils.
Ragnite for early Weapon Transcendence.
War Elemental+.
Supplementary Damage V+.
Berserker Echo+.
Better Damage Cap combinations.
Grand Refinium.
Silver Centrums.
Azurite materials.
Higher-value Wrightstones and Curios.
A Trial of Two Eternities alone can reward Fatebreaker V+, Damage Cap V+, Berserker Echo+, War Elemental+, Supplementary Damage V+, Guts V+, Autorevive V+, and Potion Hoarder V+ among its potential rewards.
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Chaos quest rewards.
That is why farming many old Sigils before Chaos can be inefficient.
The new difficulty starts handing you much stronger combinations.
Chaos+
Chaos+ is where the expansion begins expecting your new systems to work together.
You should no longer be relying purely on an old awakened Terminus build and launch-era Sigils.
Current Chaos+ quests include encounters around the 26,000–30,000 advised PWR range alongside exploration and other objective types.
For example, Incoming! is listed at 26,000 advised PWR and can provide Ragnite (Stinger), while Procession of Dragons sits at the higher end of Chaos+ progression and has access to stronger endgame Sigil pools.
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Incoming! and Current Quest Database.
Chaos+ is where weak AI teammates, low HP, poor weapon choices, and badly compressed Sigil builds start becoming obvious.
Chaos++
Chaos++ is the real endgame wall before Infinity.
Current Chaos++ encounters commonly begin around 32,000 PWR and eventually move into the mid-to-high 30,000 range.
Examples include:
Flavor Blast! — 32,000.
Lightning Strikes Twice — 32,000.
All-Consuming Darkness — 33,000.
New World Order — 34,500.
A Reckoning for the Reckoner — 34,500.
The Myths Are Real — 36,000.
Four Dragons of the Apocalypse — 36,500.
An Act of Automagod — 37,000.
Beneath Primeval Wings — 37,000.
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Chaos++ quest database.
At this level, simply meeting the displayed PWR number is not enough.
You need a build that functions.
Why Old Terminus Builds Feel Bad in Chaos
This catches many returning players.
The original Terminus Weapon is extremely powerful in Proud because Catastrophe rewards staying below its HP threshold.
But Chaos enemies hit much harder.
Your old low-HP setup can suddenly turn ordinary mistakes into instant critical states.
Meanwhile, Endless Ragnarok has given other weapon families Transcendence effects that provide large offensive bonuses without requiring you to remain as fragile.
Community players repeatedly noticed that an old, non-transcended Terminus Weapon could become temporarily weaker in practical Chaos progression than a properly transcended Defender, Stinger, or later Ascension weapon.
Community source: GranblueFantasyRelink — early Endless Ragnarok progression discussion.
Terminus Is Not Bad
Do not misunderstand this.
Terminus eventually becomes extremely powerful again after its own Transcendence progression unlocks.
The problem is the middle stage.
Your old Terminus is waiting for its modern progression system.
Your other weapon families can already be transcended.
For a period of Chaos progression, another weapon may simply give you better actual performance.
Weapon Transcendence Should Be a Priority
Cygames confirms that every weapon except bonus weapons can be transcended once fully upgraded.
Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.
This makes weapon progression one of your first priorities after Chaos opens.
Defender
Defender is one of the safest Chaos progression paths.
Ragnite (Defender) begins dropping immediately in Chaos.
Current sources include:
A Trial of Two Eternities.
In the Depths of Madness.
Jumbo Crab's Title Fight.
The General Assembly.
It continues dropping throughout Chaos+ and Chaos++.
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Ragnite (Defender).
Defender is especially useful if you are dying too easily.
A dead high-DPS character is less useful than a durable character that continues attacking for the whole fight.
Stinger
Stinger is another common early Transcendence route.
Ragnite (Stinger) appears from Chaos onward, including:
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Ragnite (Stinger).
Stinger rewards critical-focused setups.
It can be extremely strong, but remember that it may require more deliberate Critical Hit Rate investment than Defender.
Ascension and Terminus Later
As you progress, Ascension weapons become powerful bridge weapons.
Later still, Chaos++ begins dropping Ragnite (Terminus), letting Terminus Weapons begin their true Endless Ragnarok endgame progression.
Current Ragnite Terminus sources start with later Chaos++ quests such as The Not Forgotten Sky, then expand into encounters including The Myths Are Real, Four Dragons of the Apocalypse, An Act of Automagod, Beneath Primeval Wings, and the Defy Infinity quests.
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Ragnite (Terminus).
Do not rush to Terminus Transcendence before the game is naturally giving you the material efficiently.
Fatebreaker Changes Your Build
Fatebreaker is not simply a new rank icon.
It gives access to one of Endless Ragnarok's strongest progression systems: Master Traits.
Cygames confirms that Master Traits unlock for level 100 characters after reaching Fatebreaker.
You spend MSP to raise Master Level.
Higher Master Levels allow more Master Traits to be equipped.
Each character has three Master Style directions, and equipping enough traits from a style activates passive Style Perks.
Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.
Focus on Your Main Party
Chaos throws enormous numbers of possible upgrades at you.
Do not spread resources evenly across twenty characters.
Start with:
Your player-controlled main.
Your strongest AI damage dealer.
Your most reliable support.
One additional AI companion.
Once that four-character group can farm efficiently, developing the rest of your roster becomes much easier.
Fatebreaker Sigils
Chaos also introduces the Fatebreaker Sigil.
Its description is straightforward:
It boosts attack, defense, and Damage Cap when participating in Fatebreaker-grade quests.
The Legendary V+ version appears in Chaos reward pools.
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Fatebreaker V+ data.
This is one of the most efficient early Endless Ragnarok Sigils because it improves three useful areas simultaneously in the content where you need it.
Do not judge your Chaos build only by what was best in Proud.
Fatebreaker alone can replace part of the old offensive structure.
Summons Matter in Chaos
Summons unlock after reaching Fatebreaker and completing the Summons tutorial.
You can equip up to four Summons.
Cygames also confirms that Summons are specifically usable in:
Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.
Each Summon has its own Trait.
That makes Summons valuable for much more than their active attack.
They can help move important effects outside your limited Sigil slots.
A finished character might obtain important traits from:
Sigils.
Weapon.
Wrightstone.
Master Traits.
Summons.
That is why a Chaos build should be evaluated as a whole.
Primal Bursts
Chaos also enables Primal Bursts.
Cygames describes these as enhanced Full Burst interactions involving Proto Bahamut or Excavallion.
Once the relevant battle conditions are fulfilled, using Skybound Arts with all four party members can activate the Primal Burst.
Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Systems.
Do not ignore this mechanic.
Chaos bosses can have enormous HP pools.
Efficient SBA coordination gives you:
Raw personal DPS is only one part of a good Chaos team.
Damage Cap Becomes More Complicated
The easiest build mistake in Chaos is adding offense without understanding whether it is helping.
Endless Ragnarok added a damage-cap percentage display to Sir Barrold.
Cygames explains that when an attack reaches 100% or higher, additional Damage Cap effects can increase your overall damage.
Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.
Test Your Important Attacks
Do not only test basic attacks.
Check:
One skill may already be heavily capped while another still needs raw power.
The goal is not to create the highest PWR number.
The goal is to increase actual damage.
New Chaos Sigils Replace Old Assumptions
Chaos immediately starts dropping powerful new Sigils and better versions of familiar effects.
A Trial of Two Eternities can already reward:
Fatebreaker V+.
Damage Cap V+.
Berserker Echo+.
War Elemental+.
Supplementary Damage V+.
Guts V+.
Autorevive V+.
Potion Hoarder V+.
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — A Trial of Two Eternities.
This has major implications.
War Elemental Becomes Easier to Fit
War Elemental still causes all attacks to count as the superior element.
Chaos reward pools make improved versions much more accessible than they were in the original endgame.
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — War Elemental.
Supplementary Damage Remains Strong
Supplementary Damage remains valuable, but Chaos begins giving you better opportunities to obtain V and V+ versions rather than relying exclusively on painful Curio RNG.
Current quest data lists Supplementary Damage V from Chaos, Chaos+, Chaos++, and Infinity encounters.
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Supplementary Damage V.
Echo Effects Become Important
Berserker Echo and Spartan Echo become increasingly important as your build reaches the ATK and HP thresholds necessary to activate them consistently.
These are particularly attractive because their supplementary effects can stack with other parts of an optimized endgame setup.
Survivability Is Not Optional
Chaos punishes the old assumption that every defensive slot is wasted damage.
It is easy to look at a build calculator and decide that another offensive Sigil gives more theoretical DPS.
That calculation means very little if one missed mechanic puts you in critical condition.
Useful survival options can include:
Your goal is not maximum damage per screenshot. Your goal is maximum damage over the entire successful fight.
Uptime Is Damage
Suppose Build A deals 10% more theoretical damage.
But Build A spends more time:
Build B may clear faster even though its paper DPS looks lower.
This becomes increasingly obvious in Chaos++.
Build Your AI Companions Properly
Chaos exposes weak AI teammates.
A common base-game approach was to build one extremely powerful main while giving companions whatever leftover Sigils were available.
That becomes less effective here.
Your AI characters need:
Modern weapons.
Damage Cap.
Master Traits.
Useful Summons.
Survival.
Character-specific effects.
Skills the AI handles reliably.
Enough Stun or utility to help the whole party.
The AI does not need your exact player build.
A safe AI setup can be better than a fragile theoretically optimized setup because the companion continuously attacks without dying.
Stun and Link Time Matter More Than Ever
Cygames confirms that filling an enemy's Stun Gauge enables a Link Attack.
When Link Level reaches 100%, another successful Link Attack activates Link Time, slowing enemy actions and providing party benefits.
Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Systems.
Chaos bosses are exactly the kind of enemies where this becomes valuable.
A successful Link Time window can let you:
Safely charge attacks.
Dump major skills.
Build character resources.
Push toward Break.
Extend offensive momentum.
Avoid dangerous boss mechanics.
Do not automatically remove Stun Power because a training dummy says another offensive stat gives slightly more damage.
Chaos+ Preparation
When Chaos becomes comfortable, you should start preparing for Chaos+ rather than staying indefinitely to perfect every single drop.
Before pushing, your main party should generally have:
A useful transcended weapon.
Enough Damage Cap.
Fatebreaker where appropriate.
Developed Master Traits.
Summons equipped.
Reasonable survivability.
At least one reliable method of supporting Stun or party control.
AI companions that no longer collapse to ordinary boss attacks.
You do not need a perfect build.
You need a coherent build.
What Chaos+ Tests
Chaos+ tends to expose three problems.
Weak Weapon Progression
If your weapon is still essentially a Proud-era weapon with no meaningful Transcendence investment, enemies may feel unnecessarily tanky.
Poor Survival
Boss damage increases.
Players clinging to fragile original Terminus HP values can find themselves entering critical condition repeatedly.
Bad Party Investment
If your three AI characters are still using old random setups, their deaths and low damage become increasingly noticeable.
Chaos+ is where you should begin thinking in terms of four complete characters, not one hero and three passengers.
What Chaos++ Tests
Chaos++ is where Endless Ragnarok starts demanding genuine optimization.
The content is not simply designed around higher ATK.
It tests:
Some fights add multiple bosses.
Others increase phase complexity.
Others reward precise defensive play through side goals.
Four Dragons of the Apocalypse, for example, requires defeating four bosses in succession and has an advised PWR of 36,500.
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Four Dragons of the Apocalypse.
Chaos++ Is Where Terminus Returns
One of the most important progression milestones is Ragnite (Terminus).
This material is used to transcend Terminus Weapons.
Current sources begin in advanced Chaos++.
Examples include:
It continues dropping in Defy Infinity.
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Ragnite (Terminus).
This is where your old Terminus investment begins paying off again.
Do not confuse the temporary weakness of a non-transcended Terminus during early Chaos with Terminus being obsolete.
It simply has a later power spike.
Best Chaos Farming Priorities
Do not farm randomly.
Ask what is currently stopping your progression.
If You Are Dying
Prioritize:
Do not respond to a survival problem by adding another 5% theoretical damage.
If Your Damage Is Too Low
Check Sir Barrold.
Determine whether you need:
More raw power.
More Damage Cap.
Better weapon Transcendence.
Fatebreaker.
Echo effects.
Better character-specific Traits.
More efficient Master Traits.
If Your Build Lacks Premium Sigils
Farm Chaos quests that naturally provide multiple useful effects.
A Trial of Two Eternities is an excellent early example because its pool already contains several premium progression Sigils.
Later, Procession of Dragons and advanced Chaos+ or Chaos++ encounters offer increasingly valuable reward combinations.
If Your Weapon Is the Problem
Farm the Ragnite tied to the weapon type you actually intend to use.
Do not farm Stinger Ragnite because somebody said Stinger was meta if your current build functions better with Defender.
MSP Becomes a Major Resource
Master Traits require MSP.
The deeper you progress, the more MSP you will need across multiple characters.
At Endless Ragnarok's launch, late-game players found the MSP grind particularly demanding.
Cygames significantly improved this in Ver. 2.0.5.
The update increased MSP rewards for several late Chaos++ quests:
The Myths Are Real — 50,000 MSP
In the Wrong Hands — 50,000 MSP
The Tempest Rises — 50,000 MSP
Reclusive Vengeance — 50,000 MSP
Four Dragons of the Apocalypse — 140,000 MSP
Rock Around the Clock — 75,000 MSP
An Act of Automagod — 75,000 MSP
Beneath Primeval Wings — 75,000 MSP
Eternal Pride — 75,000 MSP
Every Defy Infinity quest was increased to 250,000 MSP.
Cygames also raised the maximum stored MSP from 999,999 to 9,999,999.
Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.5 Update Information.
This completely changes late-game MSP farming.
Four Dragons of the Apocalypse Is an Important Farm
Among Chaos++ quests, Four Dragons of the Apocalypse deserves special attention.
After Ver. 2.0.5, it awards 140,000 MSP per clear.
It also provides high-end rewards while requiring you to defeat four bosses in sequence.
Current quest data lists:
Advised PWR: 36,500
MSP: 140,000 after the Ver. 2.0.5 adjustment
Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.5 Update Information; Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Four Dragons of the Apocalypse.
Once you can clear it efficiently, it becomes far more interesting than continuing to farm low-level pre-Chaos MSP methods.
When the Conflux Becomes Less Important
The Conflux is fantastic for catch-up.
It provides targeted weapon, awakening, Sigil, and Transcendence materials.
But it does not award everything a developed account needs.
Community players reaching late Chaos++ often shift away from repeated Conflux runs because normal high-end quests provide:
all from the same activity.
Community source: GranblueFantasyRelink — late Chaos++ Conflux reward discussion.
The practical rule is:
Use the Conflux when you need a specific Conflux reward. Use Chaos++ when you need broad account progression.
Chaos Bosses Demand Mechanic Knowledge
Do not expect to outgear everything.
Several Chaos++ encounters punish players who ignore mechanics.
For example:
Roar from the Heavens pits you against Primeval Proto Bahamut and includes a side goal for avoiding Supernova.
Terror from the Moon features Pyet-A, Blood Moon and rewards destroying destructible parts.
New World Order centers on The World and includes objectives tied to Sephira Sandbox and perfect guarding.
A Reckoning for the Reckoner puts players against Bahamut Versa Advent.
Sources: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — current Chaos++ quest pages.
The pattern is important.
Chaos rewards learning.
A 40,000-PWR character who ignores every boss mechanic can still fail.
Co-Op Can Make Chaos Easier
Endless Ragnarok added full crossplay between:
PlayStation 4.
PlayStation 5.
Steam.
Nintendo Switch 2.
Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Systems.
That gives Chaos players a wider matchmaking population.
If your AI party is struggling, co-op can be extremely valuable—especially on fights where humans can coordinate:
SBA.
Full Bursts.
Primal Bursts.
Stun.
Link Time.
Revives.
Boss positioning.
Do not assume solo is inherently superior just because you cleared Proud alone.
Assist Mode Is Available for Story Chaos
Endless Ragnarok also expands Assist Mode.
Cygames states that Assist Mode and Full Assist Mode, which were previously unavailable in Maniac and Proud, can now be used for quests including Chaos up to the end of the Endless Ragnarok story.
Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Systems.
This is useful for players primarily interested in seeing the expansion story.
It does not mean every later Chaos++ or Infinity challenge is designed to be automated.
Common Chaos Mistakes
Overfarming Proud Before Starting
If you can clear the unlock requirements, move forward.
Chaos provides better progression systems.
Keeping a Fragile Old Terminus Build Forever
Terminus eventually becomes incredible again.
During early Chaos, another transcended weapon may be safer and stronger.
Ignoring Weapon Transcendence
It is one of the expansion's central power systems.
Your old level-150 weapon is no longer finished merely because it was finished before Endless Ragnarok.
Ignoring Master Traits
Master Traits are not tiny bonus nodes.
They can fundamentally change how a character plays and can add enormous amounts of practical strength.
Building Only Your Main
Chaos+ and Chaos++ expose weak AI companions very quickly.
Develop a proper four-character party.
Looking Only at PWR
PWR is useful.
It is not a substitute for a coherent build.
You can meet an advised PWR number while having poor Damage Cap, no survival, bad Traits, or weak AI companions.
Stacking ATK After Reaching Cap
Use Sir Barrold.
If an attack is already far above the power needed to reach its current ceiling, more raw ATK may not help.
Equipping Zero Defensive Utility
Dead characters produce no DPS.
Chaos++ makes this painfully obvious.
Ignoring Stun and Link Time
They create some of your strongest controlled damage windows.
Farming Low-Level MSP Forever
Ver. 2.0.5 massively improved late Chaos++ and Infinity MSP rewards.
Move to stronger farms when your party is ready.
How to Know You Are Ready for Chaos++
You do not need perfect gear.
You should, however, have solved the obvious weaknesses.
Your main character should have:
A strong transcended weapon.
Master Traits that fit the character.
Enough Damage Cap.
Fatebreaker where useful.
Good offensive Sigils.
Survival appropriate to your skill level.
Useful Summons.
Your AI characters should:
Stay alive.
Contribute meaningful damage.
Use modern weapons.
Have useful Sigils.
Support Stun, buffs, debuffs, or survival where appropriate.
Your party should also be able to handle Chaos+ bosses without every clear feeling like an emergency.
If Chaos+ already requires repeated revives, Chaos++ will probably expose the same problem much more aggressively.
Preparing for Defy Infinity
Chaos++ eventually becomes preparation for the next wall: Defy Infinity.
Current Defy Infinity Threshold quests have an advised PWR of approximately 45,000.
They provide some of the strongest reward pools currently available, including Ragnite Terminus, advanced Sigils, Summons, weapon materials, and—after Ver. 2.0.5—250,000 MSP per clear.
Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Current Quest Database; Cygames — Ver. 2.0.5 Update Information.
You do not need to rush there.
Chaos++ exists to build the characters that can handle it.
By the time Infinity becomes realistic, your account should have:
Deep Master Trait progression.
Strong Summons.
Transcended Terminus or another mature weapon setup.
Better V+ Sigils.
Celestial Sigils.
Echo effects.
Strong AI companions.
Much better understanding of endgame bosses.
Current Chaos Status in Ver. 2.0.6
The current official version is Ver. 2.0.6, released September 17, 2026.
The patch did not overhaul Chaos progression but fixed several relevant high-end issues.
Among them, Cygames corrected unintended damage from The World's Celestial Sphere in New World Order and On the Threshold of The World.
The update also fixed a bug where several single-level Sigils could incorrectly drop at Trait Level 11 instead of their intended Trait Level 15.
Affected Sigils included:
War Elemental.
Untouchable.
Potent Greens.
Roll of the Die.
Flight over Fight.
Existing affected Sigils were automatically corrected.

FAQ
How do I unlock Chaos in Granblue Fantasy: Relink?
The current Ver. 2.0.2 requirements for beginning Endless Ragnarok include clearing The Tale of Bahamut's Rage and Cycle 3 of the Conflux. This moves you into the new Endless Ragnarok and Chaos progression.
What PWR should I have for Chaos?
The first major Chaos quest, A Trial of Two Eternities, has an advised PWR of 23,000. Later Chaos quests increase beyond that, while Chaos+ and Chaos++ rise significantly higher.
Do I need a fully awakened Terminus Weapon before Chaos?
No. A strong Proud-era build can get you into Chaos, and Endless Ragnarok then provides more efficient ways to improve weapons and obtain materials. Do not delay Chaos solely because every Terminus awakening is unfinished.
Why does my Terminus Weapon feel weak in Chaos?
The classic Catastrophe Terminus setup forces relatively low HP, while newly transcended Defender, Stinger, and later Ascension weapons gain major new bonuses. Terminus becomes extremely powerful again once its own late-game Transcendence is available.
What is Fatebreaker?
Fatebreaker is the new Endless Ragnarok Skyfarer Grade. It unlocks major systems including Master Traits and Summons.
When do Master Traits unlock?
Cygames states that Master Traits unlock for level 100 characters after reaching Fatebreaker.
How many Summons can I equip?
Up to four Summons can be equipped after reaching Fatebreaker and completing the Summons tutorial.
Can Summons be used in Chaos?
Yes. Cygames states that Summons can be used in Fatebreaker quests of Chaos difficulty or higher and in certain Conflux areas.
What are the best early Chaos Sigils?
Fatebreaker V+, Damage Cap V+, War Elemental+, Supplementary Damage V+, Berserker Echo+, and useful survival Sigils are all obtainable through early Chaos reward pools.
Should I use Defender or Stinger in Chaos?
Both can work. Defender is excellent if survivability is the problem. Stinger can provide strong offensive scaling if your build supports its critical requirements. Choose according to what your character actually needs.
When does Terminus Ragnite start dropping?
Current quest data shows Ragnite (Terminus) beginning in advanced Chaos++ content such as The Not Forgotten Sky and continuing through later Chaos++ and Defy Infinity.
What is the best Chaos++ MSP farm?
After Ver. 2.0.5, Four Dragons of the Apocalypse awards 140,000 MSP, while several other late Chaos++ quests award 75,000 or 50,000. The best option depends on your clear speed and which additional materials you need.
How much MSP does Defy Infinity give?
Cygames increased every Defy Infinity quest to 250,000 MSP in Ver. 2.0.5.
Do I need perfect Sigils for Chaos++?
No. A coherent build with good Damage Cap, Master Traits, a strong weapon, survival, Summons, and functional AI companions is more important than having twelve perfect synthesized Sigils.
Conclusion
The Granblue Relink Chaos endgame is designed to break you out of the old Proud-era progression loop.
Your goal is not to arrive with a perfect account.
Your goal is to arrive strong enough to start using the systems that Endless Ragnarok gives you.
Clear The Tale of Bahamut's Rage. Progress the Conflux. Enter Chaos. Begin Weapon Transcendence. Reach Fatebreaker. Develop Master Traits. Equip Summons. Replace weak old Sigils with Fatebreaker, Echo, War Elemental+, Supplementary Damage V+, and eventually Celestial options.
Most importantly, do not sacrifice everything for theoretical damage.
Chaos, Chaos+, and especially Chaos++ reward survivability, Stun, Link Time, SBA coordination, boss knowledge, and a complete four-character party.
Your original Terminus Weapon may temporarily step aside while Defender, Stinger, or Ascension progression carries you forward. That is normal. Once Chaos++ begins dropping Ragnite Terminus, the weapon can return as one of the strongest long-term endgame options.
Later Chaos++ also becomes one of the best places to develop Master Traits. Ver. 2.0.5 turned encounters such as Four Dragons of the Apocalypse into major MSP farms, while Defy Infinity now awards 250,000 MSP per clear.
The best approach is therefore straightforward:
Push until the game exposes a weakness. Fix that weakness. Then push again.
Do not farm simply because an old guide told you to farm.
Farm because a specific weapon, Sigil, Master Trait, or survival problem is preventing your next clear.
That mindset will carry you from your first 23,000-PWR Chaos trial through Chaos+, Chaos++, and eventually toward Relink's 45,000-PWR Infinity endgame.
For players who want additional help with difficult bosses or character progression, BoostRoom can help you continue through Granblue Fantasy: Relink while you focus on mastering Endless Ragnarok's hardest encounters.
