Granblue Relink Leveling Guide

Leveling in Granblue Fantasy: Relink is much easier once you understand where the game expects you to farm. Normal character levels still cap at level 100, and Endless Ragnarok adds a separate Master Level system after that rather than simply raising the ordinary level cap. For new characters, returning players, and anyone building the six Endless Ragnarok additions, the fastest approach is usually to push progression until efficient EXP farms become available instead of grinding low-level quests for hours.

What Is the Max Level in Granblue Relink?

The normal character level cap remains 100.

Endless Ragnarok does not simply increase the ordinary character cap to 110, 120, or another number.

Instead, Cygames added a separate progression system for characters who have already reached level 100.

After reaching Fatebreaker, a level 100 character can begin developing Master Traits by spending MSP to increase their Master Level.

That means modern character progression is effectively divided into two major stages:

  • Character Level 1–100

This uses normal EXP. Your goal is to reach level 100 so the character has access to their complete ordinary leveling progression and can later enter the Endless Ragnarok Master Trait system.

  • Master Level after Level 100

This uses MSP rather than normal EXP. Master Level determines how many Master Traits you can equip and supports the three Master Style paths available to each character.

Cygames officially confirms that Master Traits become available to level 100 characters after reaching Skyfarer Grade Fatebreaker.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information and Endless Ragnarok Systems.

This distinction is extremely important.

If your character is level 73, you need EXP.

If your character is already level 100 and you are trying to unlock more Master Traits, normal leveling is no longer the main problem. You need MSP.

Do Not Grind Levels Too Early

One of the easiest mistakes in Relink is grinding low-level quests simply because your party looks underleveled.

Most of the time, progressing farther is more efficient.

Later quests provide dramatically better EXP, stronger Spellbooks, more MSP, better weapon materials, and better Sigils.

If your current story or rank-up content is still clearable, keep progressing.

You should usually stop and farm only when:

  • Your main party is genuinely struggling to survive.

  • Your damage has fallen too far behind the current enemies.

  • A rank-up quest has become a real wall.

  • You have unlocked a particularly efficient leveling mission such as Assault Formation or Slimepede.

  • You have just recruited several characters and want to catch them up quickly.

Spending an hour farming an early Hard quest can be much less useful than reaching Extreme or Maniac and gaining access to quests specifically suited for EXP farming.

Best Leveling Method Before Maniac

Before Slimepede becomes available, one of the strongest practical EXP farms is Assault Formation!

This is an Extreme-difficulty survival quest on the Aviaeth Battleship.

Current quest data lists:

  • Difficulty: Extreme

  • Advised PWR: 5,500

  • Time limit: 4 minutes

  • Base listed EXP: 31,400

  • Objective: Defeat as many enemies as possible

The quest also gives useful materials and can reward Silver Spellbooks through its first-clear and high-rank rewards.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Assault Formation!

Why Assault Formation Is So Good

Assault Formation has an important advantage over a normal boss quest:

you spend almost the entire mission killing enemies.

There is very little downtime.

A strong character can repeatedly eliminate waves while weaker characters receive EXP alongside the party.

Community players have continued recommending Assault Formation even in 2025–2026 as the main pre-Maniac leveling route because it combines strong EXP with useful drops and voucher-generating materials.

Community source: Granblue Fantasy: Relink Steam discussions — Extreme progression and leveling advice.

Who Should Use Assault Formation?

Use it when:

  • You have reached Extreme but not Maniac.

  • Your party is stuck below the levels required to progress comfortably.

  • You recently recruited another character.

  • You need EXP and useful materials at the same time.

  • Slimepede is not yet unlocked.

Once Maniac opens, Slimepede becomes the more obvious dedicated leveling farm.

Slimepede Is the Classic Leveling Quest

For pure character leveling, Slimepede remains one of Granblue Relink's most famous farms.

It is a Maniac survival quest set in Seedhollow Castle.

Current quest data lists:

  • Difficulty: Maniac

  • Advised PWR: 7,200

  • Time limit: 3 minutes

  • Base listed EXP: 36,500

  • Objective: Defeat as many slimes as possible

Slimepede also rewards EXP-related items and Sigils, making it particularly useful when leveling several characters rather than only one.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Slimepede.

Why Slimepede Works So Well

The quest is short.

There are many enemies.

The enemies are designed to be farmed quickly.

You can level several party members at the same time.

You can obtain Spellbooks.

You can obtain Fast Learner Sigils.

You can earn MSP alongside the EXP.

And once your main farmer becomes strong enough, each run becomes extremely consistent.

Community players still recommend Slimepede in 2026 for newly unlocked or neglected characters.

Community source: GranblueFantasyRelink — 2026 leveling discussions.

How to Farm Slimepede Efficiently

The goal is not simply to survive the three minutes.

The goal is to kill as many slimes as possible.

Use a Fast Farmer

Characters capable of quickly reaching targets or attacking at range perform particularly well.

Ranged characters can be especially comfortable because you spend less time moving from slime to slime.

Common community favorites have historically included:

  • Eugen.

  • Rackam.

  • Eustace.

  • Fast melee characters with strong mobility.

Eustace has become especially interesting after Endless Ragnarok because players discovered that his Assist Mode behavior can work unusually well in Slimepede.

A July 2026 community test showed Eustace automatically engaging slime targets under Assist Mode, making him useful for low-input farming.

That behavior is a community finding rather than an officially documented farming feature, so it could potentially change in a later update.

Community source: GranblueFantasyRelink — Eustace Assist Mode Slimepede testing.

Avoid Long Animations

Slimepede is a three-minute survival farm.

A skill that spends several seconds animating to kill one slime may be worse than a simple attack that immediately lets you move to another target.

Prioritize:

  • Short attacks.

  • Fast movement.

  • Wide coverage.

  • Reliable critical hits.

  • Quick targeting.

The objective is kills per minute, not maximum boss DPS.

Do Not Obsess Over a Perfect Farm Build

Slimepede exists to level characters.

You do not need an Infinity-ready build.

A sufficiently powerful farming character can carry lower-level party members while they equip EXP-focused traits.

Fast Learner Explained

Fast Learner increases EXP earned from defeating enemies and clearing quests.

Its current Trait scaling reaches:

EXP +30% at Trait Level 45.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Fast Learner Trait.

This is one of the best traits to use while leveling characters from below 100.

Equip Fast Learner on Characters You Are Leveling

If a character does not need their full combat build for the farm, fill spare Sigil space with Fast Learner.

You can temporarily replace:

  • Excess defensive Sigils.

  • Endgame Damage Cap pieces that are unnecessary for the farm.

  • Specialized boss traits.

  • Resistance Sigils.

  • Other effects that do not help the character gain EXP.

You do not need to preserve the leveling build permanently.

Once the character reaches 100, restore the real combat setup.

Where to Get Fast Learner

Fast Learner appears in several tiers.

The game can reward lower versions relatively early, while Fast Learner V is obtainable from Slimepede itself and from Curios.

Current Slimepede reward data also includes:

  • Fast Learner III.

  • Fast Learner IV.

  • Fast Learner V.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Slimepede and Fast Learner V.

This creates a useful feedback loop.

You farm Slimepede to level characters.

Slimepede gives better Fast Learner Sigils.

Those Sigils make future characters easier to level.

Spellbooks Are the Fastest Way to Catch Up One Character

Spellbooks grant EXP directly.

They come in three main grades:

  • Copper Spellbook

Grants a small amount of EXP.

  • Silver Spellbook

Grants a moderate amount of EXP.

  • Gold Spellbook

Grants a large amount of EXP.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Copper, Silver, and Gold Spellbooks.

When to Use Spellbooks

Spellbooks are especially good for:

  • A newly recruited character you want to use immediately.

  • One specific character who is far behind your core party.

  • New Endless Ragnarok characters.

  • Bringing a character high enough to survive your current quest difficulty.

  • Avoiding several manual leveling runs when you already have a large stockpile.

If you have dozens or hundreds of Spellbooks sitting unused, there is little reason to force a level 20 character through multiple low-level quests.

Use the books.

Then put the character into meaningful content.

Do Not Be Too Afraid to Spend Them

Spellbooks feel valuable early because you have very few.

Later they become much easier to obtain.

Silver Spellbooks can come from activities including:

  • Assault Formation.

  • To Know the Unknowable.

  • Slimepede.

  • The Final Vision.

Gold Spellbooks become available through Proud and then appear throughout Chaos and Chaos+ quests.

Current Gold Spellbook sources include early Chaos encounters such as:

  • A Trial of Two Eternities.

  • You're Being Watched.

  • In the Depths of Madness.

  • Jumbo Crab's Title Fight.

  • Sun Blotter.

  • Gray Gear Reverberance.

  • Spear of the Invincible.

  • One-Woman Army.

  • The General Assembly.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Gold Spellbook acquisition.

By Endless Ragnarok progression, basic EXP books are not something you need to hoard forever.

Best Way to Level Newly Recruited Characters

When you unlock another character, do not rebuild your whole party around them immediately.

Use your established characters to carry them.

Keep One Strong Farmer

Bring one character capable of comfortably clearing the leveling content.

This character's job is to keep the run efficient.

Add Characters Who Need EXP

Place your lower-level characters into the remaining party slots.

Equip Fast Learner where practical.

Then run your preferred farm.

This allows you to level multiple characters simultaneously instead of doing them one at a time.

Use Spellbooks to Skip the Weakest Levels

If the character is so underleveled that they die constantly, give them Spellbooks first.

There is very little value in forcing an extremely weak character through a farm if a few books can immediately bring them into a usable range.

Should You Delay Unlocking Characters?

Older Relink players sometimes delayed spending Crewmate Cards because recruited characters could enter at a higher starting level after more story progression.

That mattered much more near launch.

Today, the existence of:

  • Slimepede.

  • Assault Formation.

  • Spellbooks.

  • Endless Ragnarok progression.

  • High-level Chaos rewards.

makes ordinary EXP much less restrictive.

Community testing has long shown that late postgame characters can be leveled to 100 rapidly enough that saving a Crewmate Card purely to reduce EXP farming is usually unnecessary.

If you want to play a character, unlock them.

Do not deny yourself a character you enjoy because you are trying to save a relatively small amount of leveling time.

Community sources consistently note that once Slimepede is available, character EXP becomes one of the easier progression problems to solve.

Leveling the Endless Ragnarok Characters

Endless Ragnarok adds:

  • Beatrix.

  • Eustace.

  • Gallanza.

  • Maglielle.

  • Fraux.

  • Fediel.

Cygames confirms that Beatrix and Eustace use normal Crewmate Cards, while Gallanza and Maglielle use special recruitment cards obtained through Chapter Ø progression.

Fraux and Fediel receive special cards through Endless Ragnarok's story, although Cygames also allows them to be unlocked using two normal Crewmate Cards instead.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

Level Them Before Judging Them

A level-deficient character can feel dramatically weaker than your established roster.

That does not mean the character is bad.

They may be missing:

  • Raw stats from levels.

  • Mastery nodes.

  • Weapon Masteries.

  • Proper weapons.

  • Sigils.

  • Over Mastery.

  • Master Traits.

  • Summons.

Bring them to level 100 first.

Then evaluate their actual performance.

Do You Need Every Character at Level 100?

Eventually it is useful.

Immediately it is unnecessary.

Focus first on:

  • Your main.

  • Your three preferred AI teammates.

  • Characters you genuinely enjoy.

  • Useful alternatives for different playstyles.

Once your farming setup is efficient, getting the rest of the roster to level 100 becomes relatively easy.

The game even tracks account-wide leveling achievements.

Current trophy data includes:

  • Reaching level 100 with one character.

  • Reaching level 100 with 15 crewmates.

  • Raising one of the six new Endless Ragnarok characters to level 100.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Trophy data.

Leveling the entire roster is therefore a reasonable long-term completion goal, but it should not delay your core party's progression.

What Happens to EXP at Level 100?

Once ordinary character leveling ends, your priorities change.

The character has reached the point where Endless Ragnarok's new Master Trait system becomes relevant—provided you have also reached Fatebreaker.

Cygames describes Master Traits as new paths to greater strength for max-level characters.

Each character receives three style directions that can meaningfully alter skills and gameplay.

Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Systems.

This is why a modern leveling guide cannot stop at “reach level 100.”

Level 100 is now the end of ordinary leveling and the beginning of another progression layer.

Master Level Is Not Character Level

This terminology can be confusing.

Character Level

Uses EXP.

Caps at 100.

Master Level

Uses MSP.

Unlocks after level 100 and Fatebreaker.

Allows more Master Traits to be equipped.

The systems should not be mixed together.

A Gold Spellbook helps normal leveling.

It does not replace the MSP needed for deep Master Trait development.

A high-MSP Chaos++ quest is excellent for Master Level.

It is not necessary for simply taking a low-level character through their basic EXP levels.

How to Farm MSP Before Endless Ragnarok Endgame

Before you are deep into Chaos++, normal gameplay and Slimepede can provide significant MSP.

Slimepede historically became popular not only for EXP but because it lets players simultaneously gather:

  • EXP.

  • MSP.

  • Spellbooks.

  • Rupies.

  • Various slime rewards.

Fast Learner helps EXP.

A separate Trait called Path to Mastery increases MSP earned.

Current Trait data lists:

Path to Mastery: up to MSP +30%.

The effect does not apply to online players in your party.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Traits.

If your character is already level 100 and your goal is specifically old-style Mastery progression, Path to Mastery can be more useful than Fast Learner.

Ambrosia Is for Mastery, Not Normal EXP

Do not confuse Ambrosia with Spellbooks.

Spellbooks grant normal EXP.

Ambrosia grants mastery points.

The item description states that it confers mastery points rather than character EXP.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Ambrosia.

This makes Ambrosia useful after leveling or while completing a character's Mastery trees.

It is not the correct consumable when your only problem is that the character is level 72.

Best MSP Farming After Ver. 2.0.5

If your account has reached late Endless Ragnarok, do not farm Slimepede forever for MSP.

The economy changed significantly in Ver. 2.0.5.

Cygames dramatically increased MSP rewards for Chaos++ and Defy Infinity quests.

Current rewards include:

  • The Myths Are Real — 50,000 MSP

  • In the Wrong Hands — 50,000 MSP

  • The Tempest Rises — 50,000 MSP

  • Reclusive Vengeance — 50,000 MSP

  • Four Dragons of the Apocalypse — 140,000 MSP

  • Rock Around the Clock — 75,000 MSP

  • An Act of Automagod — 75,000 MSP

  • Beneath Primeval Wings — 75,000 MSP

  • Eternal Pride — 75,000 MSP

  • Every Defy Infinity quest — 250,000 MSP

Cygames also raised the MSP storage cap from 999,999 to 9,999,999.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.5 Update Information.

This is a huge distinction.

Slimepede Is a Leveling Farm

Excellent for:

  • Character EXP.

  • Early MSP.

  • Spellbooks.

  • Catching up new characters.

Chaos++ and Infinity Are Master Level Farms

Excellent for:

  • Huge MSP.

  • Master Trait development.

  • Endgame materials.

  • Sigils.

  • Summons.

  • Weapon Transcendence resources.

Once you can efficiently clear Four Dragons or Infinity quests, returning to Slimepede specifically for Master Level MSP usually makes much less sense.

Four Dragons of the Apocalypse for MSP

One of the most important late-game farming changes is Four Dragons of the Apocalypse.

After Ver. 2.0.5, the quest awards:

140,000 MSP per clear.

That is a massive increase compared with its original reward.

It also provides late-game materials while you farm.

For players capable of clearing it consistently, this is much more efficient for Master Level progression than older base-game MSP farms.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.5 Update Information.

Defy Infinity Is the Late-Game MSP Endpoint

Every Defy Infinity quest now awards:

250,000 MSP per clear.

That is currently the clearest late-game MSP target once your party is powerful enough.

Do not rush there with an underdeveloped roster.

Infinity is high-end content.

The efficient progression is to use easier farms until your build is capable of clearing these encounters reliably.

Then the enormous MSP reward accelerates Master Trait development across the rest of your roster.

Best Leveling Setup for Multiple Characters

When you want to level several characters together, efficiency matters more than individual builds.

One Strong Carry

Your carry should focus on killing.

Give them:

  • Enough damage.

  • Appropriate Damage Cap.

  • Fast attacks.

  • Mobility.

  • AoE or ranged coverage.

Do not weaken your only capable farmer just to equip Fast Learner.

Three Leveling Characters

Your lower-level characters can prioritize:

  • Fast Learner.

  • Enough HP to avoid constantly entering critical condition.

  • Basic offensive gear if AI participation matters.

They do not need finished endgame Sigils.

You are using the farm to get them ready for real progression.

Then Use Spellbooks on Stragglers

If one character finishes at level 95 while the others reach 100, you do not necessarily need another full farm session.

Use the Spellbooks earned along the way.

That is exactly the kind of situation they solve well.

Slimepede or Assault Formation?

Players have debated this since Relink launched.

Both are good.

The better one depends on where you are.

Assault Formation

Use when:

  • You have not unlocked Maniac.

  • You want EXP and useful material drops.

  • Your team handles humanoid enemy waves better than slimes.

  • You want an early post-story farm.

The quest lists 31,400 base EXP and lasts four minutes.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Assault Formation!

Slimepede

Use when:

  • Maniac is unlocked.

  • Your priority is leveling multiple characters.

  • You want Fast Learner drops.

  • You want Spellbooks.

  • You can rapidly clear large numbers of slimes.

The quest lists 36,500 base EXP and lasts three minutes.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Slimepede.

Community opinion has never been completely unanimous because Assault Formation also gives useful resources, while Slimepede is extremely specialized.

The best answer is therefore:

Slimepede is the cleaner dedicated level farm. Assault Formation is an excellent earlier farm with better general side value.

Do Not Farm Prismatic Slimes as Your Main Plan

Slimepede can produce rare Prismatic Slimes.

They are exciting because they have historically been associated with valuable rewards, and Relink has a trophy for defeating three of them.

Source: Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki — Trophy data.

But their appearance is rare enough that you should not build your leveling strategy around finding them.

Community players have spent dozens of Slimepede runs without seeing one.

Others encounter them unexpectedly.

There is no reliable reason to refuse a normal successful run simply because the rare slime did not appear.

Treat a Prismatic Slime as a bonus, not the leveling plan.

Community source: Granblue Fantasy: Relink Steam discussion — Prismatic Slime spawn experience.

Leveling AI Characters

Your AI teammates gain much more value from being properly leveled than many players realize.

An underleveled AI companion contributes less damage, has weaker stats, and usually has less-developed Masteries.

That becomes increasingly painful in:

  • Proud.

  • Chaos.

  • Chaos+.

  • Chaos++.

  • Infinity.

Level Your Core AI Trio Early

You do not need to level the entire roster immediately.

But your three primary AI teammates should not remain 30 or 40 levels behind your main character.

Take them through Assault Formation or Slimepede alongside your main farmer.

Once they reach 100, begin working on:

  • Mastery nodes.

  • Weapons.

  • Sigils.

  • Over Mastery.

  • Master Traits.

  • Summons.

Level 100 alone does not make an AI character endgame-ready, but it removes the most basic progression disadvantage.

Common Leveling Mistakes

Grinding Low-Level Quests Too Long

If you can continue progression, continue.

Better leveling tools appear later.

Ignoring Fast Learner

A character being power-leveled does not need their final boss build equipped.

Use EXP traits during the farm.

Saving Every Spellbook Forever

They exist to solve exactly this problem.

Use them on characters you actually want to play.

Leveling One Character at a Time

Slimepede can level multiple party members.

Take advantage of all four party slots.

Confusing EXP and MSP

EXP raises normal character level.

MSP powers Masteries and Endless Ragnarok Master Level progression.

They are related progression resources but not interchangeable.

Farming Slimepede for Endgame MSP Forever

Ver. 2.0.5 gives late Chaos++ quests tens of thousands of MSP and Infinity quests 250,000 per clear.

Move on when your account is strong enough.

Ignoring Weapons While Leveling

A level 100 character with an undeveloped weapon can still feel terrible.

Level is only one part of power.

Judging New Characters Before Level 100

A newly recruited character should not be compared directly with a maxed, fully geared main.

Catch them up first.

Trying to Max the Entire Roster Before Progressing

Your first priority is one complete four-character party.

Once that party can clear high-end content efficiently, leveling and building everyone else becomes much faster.

What to Do Immediately After Level 100

Reaching level 100 should change your priorities.

Finish Important Mastery Nodes

Levels do not automatically fill the character's Mastery trees.

Use MSP to unlock the offensive, defensive, and utility nodes your build needs.

Improve the Character's Weapons

Weapon Masteries also contribute permanent character strength.

Do not judge a level 100 character equipped with an undeveloped weapon.

Set Up Over Mastery

Once available, Over Mastery adds another layer of stat optimization.

Prepare for Fatebreaker

If you are progressing Endless Ragnarok, reaching level 100 means the character is ready to access Master Traits once your account has reached Fatebreaker.

Start Master Level Development

This is the real Endless Ragnarok post-100 progression.

Choose the Master Style that supports your character's actual playstyle rather than simply equipping whatever produces the largest displayed PWR number.

Current Leveling Status in Ver. 2.0.6

The current official Endless Ragnarok version is Ver. 2.0.6, released September 17, 2026.

Ver. 2.0.6 primarily fixes quest and Sigil issues and does not replace the core EXP leveling system.

Normal characters still progress to level 100, while Endless Ragnarok's Master Trait system provides the additional post-100 development layer.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.6 Update Information and Endless Ragnarok Systems.

The most important recent leveling-related change remains Ver. 2.0.5's major increase to late-game MSP rewards.

FAQ

What is the max level in Granblue Fantasy: Relink?

The normal character cap is level 100. Endless Ragnarok adds Master Level progression for level 100 Fatebreaker characters rather than raising ordinary character levels beyond 100.

What is the fastest way to level characters?

Once Maniac is unlocked, Slimepede remains one of the most efficient dedicated EXP farms. Before Maniac, Assault Formation is an excellent Extreme-difficulty alternative.

When does Slimepede unlock?

Slimepede is a Maniac-difficulty quest.

How much EXP does Slimepede give?

Current quest data lists 36,500 base EXP for the quest, in addition to EXP earned through its enemy-heavy structure and applicable bonuses such as Fast Learner.

How long is Slimepede?

The quest has a three-minute time limit.

What is Fast Learner?

Fast Learner increases EXP earned from defeating enemies and clearing quests. At Trait Level 45, the current maximum effect is EXP +30%.

Where do I get Fast Learner V?

Slimepede can reward Fast Learner V, and it can also appear through Curios.

Should I use Spellbooks?

Yes. Spellbooks exist specifically to give characters EXP. They are particularly useful for newly recruited characters or finishing the final levels after a farming session.

What is the difference between Copper, Silver, and Gold Spellbooks?

Copper grants a small amount of EXP, Silver grants a moderate amount, and Gold grants a large amount.

Can I level multiple characters at once?

Yes. Put several characters who need EXP in the party and bring one strong farmer capable of clearing the quest efficiently.

Is Assault Formation better than Slimepede?

Assault Formation is excellent before Maniac and provides useful side materials. Slimepede is generally the cleaner dedicated EXP farm once Maniac is available.

Should I wait before unlocking characters with Crewmate Cards?

You usually do not need to delay simply to save EXP. Once efficient postgame farms and Spellbooks are available, leveling new characters becomes relatively quick.

Does Endless Ragnarok raise the level cap?

Not the ordinary character level cap. Instead, level 100 Fatebreaker characters gain access to Master Level and Master Traits.

What is Master Level?

Master Level is Endless Ragnarok's post-100 development system. You spend MSP to increase it, allowing the character to equip additional Master Traits.

What is the best MSP farm?

The answer depends on progression. Slimepede is useful early. After Ver. 2.0.5, Four Dragons of the Apocalypse awards 140,000 MSP, several late Chaos++ quests award 50,000–75,000, and every Defy Infinity quest awards 250,000 MSP.

Does Fast Learner increase MSP?

No. Fast Learner increases EXP. Path to Mastery is the Trait that increases MSP earned, reaching up to +30%.

Does Ambrosia give EXP?

No. Ambrosia grants mastery points. Use Spellbooks when normal character EXP is what you need.

Conclusion

The Granblue Relink leveling grind becomes surprisingly simple once you stop trying to force it too early.

Progress first.

Use ordinary quests and story rewards while they are still enough.

When Extreme becomes available and you genuinely need EXP, Assault Formation gives you an excellent high-density enemy farm with useful extra materials.

Once Maniac opens, Slimepede becomes the classic solution.

Bring one strong farmer. Put the characters you want to level in the other party slots. Equip Fast Learner where practical. Kill as many slimes as possible. Use the Copper, Silver, and Gold Spellbooks you collect to finish characters that are still behind.

Then stop thinking about EXP.

Level 100 is not the end of character progression anymore.

In Endless Ragnarok, it is the entry requirement for the next layer.

After reaching Fatebreaker, your level 100 characters gain access to Master Level and Master Traits. From that point, MSP—not normal EXP—becomes the important resource.

And once your account reaches Chaos++ and Defy Infinity, the old MSP farms are no longer the best answer either. Ver. 2.0.5 pushes Four Dragons of the Apocalypse to 140,000 MSP and every Defy Infinity quest to 250,000 MSP per clear.

That creates a very clean progression philosophy:

Use Assault Formation when you are early. Use Slimepede when you need level 100. Use Chaos++ and Infinity when you need Master Level.

Do not spend hours farming a resource in outdated content when the next difficulty is designed to give you dramatically more of it.

For players who want additional help developing characters or clearing difficult progression content, BoostRoom can help you continue through Granblue Fantasy: Relink while you focus on the characters and combat styles you enjoy most.
