Granblue Relink Endless Ragnarok Guide

Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok transforms Relink’s endgame with a new story chapter, Chaos quests, the Conflux solo mode, Summons, Primal Bursts, Master Traits, Weapon Transcendence, new Sigils, six additional playable characters, crossplay, and much deeper character progression. It is not simply another set of harder quests. Players coming from the original Relink endgame need to rethink how they build characters, farm materials, and increase power.

How to Unlock Endless Ragnarok

Endless Ragnarok does not begin immediately after completing Relink’s original story.

To enter the expansion’s main progression, you need to reach the appropriate part of the original endgame.

Cygames confirms that the new Endless Ragnarok story requires you to clear The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage, the Proud quest featuring Proto Bahamut, and reach the required Conflux progression.

The official Ver. 2.0.2 notes clarify that the Endless Ragnarok chapter begins after clearing:

  • The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage

  • Cycle 3 of the Conflux

This is important for returning players.

You do not need to perfectly finish every piece of old Relink endgame content before moving forward.

You do not need every Terminus Weapon awakened.

You do not need every Lucilius Sigil perfected.

You do not need flawless Over Mastery rolls on the whole roster.

You need enough power to clear the actual requirements and move into the new progression systems.

Start With the Conflux

The Conflux is one of the most important additions in Endless Ragnarok, especially for new or returning players.

It is a single-player mode built around a sequence of battles, special effects, buffs, challenges, and rewards.

Unlike a standard quest where you choose one encounter and leave after defeating the target, the Conflux is designed as a deeper run in which you continue through multiple challenges while making use of effects specific to the mode.

Cygames describes it as a dimension filled with battles and puzzles where players can obtain special traits and buffs before reaching deeper challenges.

The Conflux is both a progression system and a catch-up system.

Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Systems.

How to Unlock the Conflux

You can unlock the first Conflux Cycle much earlier than the Endless Ragnarok story itself.

A new side quest becomes available in Seedhollow during Chapter 6 of the original main story, before departing for Dahli Island.

Starting that side quest opens Cycle 1.

The official progression is:

  • Cycle 1 becomes available through the Chapter 6 side quest.

  • Cycle 2 opens through Hard-difficulty progression.

  • Cycle 3 opens through Maniac-difficulty progression.

  • Deeper Cycles become available by progressing through Endless Ragnarok.

This means even a relatively fresh player can begin benefiting from the Conflux before reaching the highest original-game difficulties.

Source: Cygames — Unlocking New Story Content and The Conflux in Endless Ragnarok.

Why the Early Conflux Cycles Matter

Each early Cycle focuses on different types of progression materials.

According to Cygames:

  • Cycle 1 provides weapon-forging materials.

  • Cycle 2 provides Sigil-upgrade materials.

  • Cycle 3 provides weapon uncap and awakening materials along with rare Sigils.

That makes the Conflux extremely useful for players trying to bridge the gap between ordinary Relink progression and Chaos.

You can use it to improve weak weapons, upgrade Sigils, obtain previously annoying materials, and prepare multiple characters without repeating as much old content as before.

Do not ignore the Conflux simply because it is a solo mode.

It can remove a considerable amount of older progression friction.

Do Not Overfarm Old Endgame Content

This is one of the most important pieces of advice for returning players.

The original Relink endgame was built around systems such as:

  • Terminus Weapons.

  • Awakening.

  • Damage Cap Sigils.

  • Supplementary Damage.

  • War Elemental.

  • Lucilius materials.

  • Over Mastery.

  • Transmarvel farming.

These systems still matter.

But Endless Ragnarok adds stronger and more flexible progression layers on top of them.

Community players who reached Chaos quickly found that spending enormous amounts of time perfecting old Proud-era setups before entering the expansion was often inefficient.

For example, Chaos progression provides access to new Sigils, new weapon development, Master Traits, Summons, and higher-value Transmarvel results.

Community reports also highlight the Conflux as an easier source for several older upgrade materials.

The practical rule is simple: build enough to progress, then move forward.

If you cannot clear the content necessary to unlock Chaos, improve your equipment.

If you can clear it—even slowly—moving into Endless Ragnarok often unlocks better progression opportunities than continuing to perfect outdated content.

Community source: GranblueFantasyRelink Reddit — discussion on entering Chaos and avoiding unnecessary pre-Chaos farming.

Fatebreaker Explained

Endless Ragnarok introduces a new Skyfarer Grade called Fatebreaker.

This is more than another rank label.

Fatebreaker unlocks several major systems that define the expansion’s endgame.

Once your progression reaches the appropriate point, you gain access to features including:

  • Master Traits.

  • Summons.

  • Chaos progression.

  • Higher-end character development.

  • Fatebreaker-compatible battle mechanics.

This is the point where an original Relink character begins turning into an Endless Ragnarok character.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

Master Traits Are a Major Power Increase

One of the biggest mistakes you can make after reaching Fatebreaker is treating Master Traits as a small bonus.

They are a major part of character progression.

Master Traits become available to level 100 characters after reaching Fatebreaker.

You spend MSP to increase a character’s Master Level.

As Master Level rises, you gain the ability to equip more Master Traits.

Each character has traits built around three different Master Styles, allowing the same character to be developed toward different playstyles.

Equipping enough traits belonging to a particular style also activates passive Style Perks.

Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Systems and Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

Do Not Spread MSP Across Everyone Immediately

MSP becomes incredibly valuable in Endless Ragnarok.

You may eventually want many fully developed characters, but early progression becomes much easier if you concentrate your resources.

Start with:

  • Your main character.

  • One or two important AI companions.

  • A support or secondary character you regularly use.

Finish important Master Trait breakpoints before dumping MSP randomly across the entire roster.

The expansion gives you more ways to farm MSP later.

Current Ver. 2.0.5 significantly increased MSP rewards for numerous high-end quests. Cygames raised rewards for several Chaos++ missions and increased Defy Infinity quests to 250,000 MSP per clear.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.5 Update Information.

This makes deep-endgame MSP farming much more efficient than it was at Endless Ragnarok’s launch.

Summons Explained

Summons are another major new layer.

Once unlocked, Summons can be equipped to characters and provide their own traits.

You can equip up to four Summons at once.

They are not purely cosmetic companions.

They can influence your build and provide additional combat effects.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

How to Unlock Summons

Summons become available after reaching Fatebreaker and completing their tutorial.

The story also introduces you to the mechanic by granting your first Summon.

Once available, Summons can be used in:

  • Chaos or higher Fatebreaker quests.

  • Specific parts of the Conflux.

You cannot simply bring them into every old piece of content.

Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Systems.

Why Four Summon Slots Matter

Four extra trait sources create enormous build flexibility.

A trait that previously consumed a valuable Sigil slot may be obtainable through a Summon instead.

That can free space for:

  • Damage Cap.

  • Defensive utility.

  • Echo effects.

  • Skill cooldown.

  • SBA generation.

  • Stun Power.

  • Character-specific effects.

Do not evaluate Summons only by the attack animation they provide.

The trait attached to the Summon can be just as important as the active effect.

Primal Bursts

Primal Bursts expand the existing Skybound Art system.

The original game already rewarded coordinating four Skybound Arts into a Full Burst.

Endless Ragnarok goes one step further.

Under the correct conditions, performing the required Full Burst can trigger a Primal Burst, bringing in the power of Proto Bahamut or Excavallion for an additional powerful attack.

Primal Bursts are available in:

  • Chaos or higher Fatebreaker quests.

  • The Conflux.

Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Systems.

Do Not Ignore SBA Coordination

Players focused entirely on personal DPS can forget that Relink is designed around full-party mechanics.

SBA timing can:

  • Interrupt dangerous boss patterns.

  • Create breathing room.

  • Enable chain damage.

  • Contribute to Primal Burst activation.

  • Help secure damage during difficult phases.

A slightly weaker personal build can sometimes produce a better clear if it improves party SBA flow.

Chaos Difficulty

Chaos is the new major quest tier introduced with Endless Ragnarok.

These quests contain new enemies, bosses, materials, Sigils, story progression, and challenges built around the expansion’s stronger character systems.

Cygames describes Chaos as the highest new challenge tier involving the Ragnalia, the powerful monsters tied to the expansion’s central threat.

Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Systems.

Chaos Is Where Your Old Build Gets Tested

A Proud-era character may feel extremely strong until entering Chaos.

That does not necessarily mean your character has suddenly become bad.

The expansion expects you to start using its new progression systems.

You should be improving:

  • Transcended weapons.

  • Master Traits.

  • New Sigils.

  • Summons.

  • Wrightstones.

  • Damage Cap.

  • Character-specific mechanics.

  • Defensive consistency.

Trying to brute-force all of Chaos with an untouched original-game build can make progression much harder than necessary.

Chaos+, Chaos++, and Deeper Endgame

Chaos is only the beginning.

Further progression opens Chaos+, Chaos++, and eventually the Defy Infinity endgame.

These stages are where Endless Ragnarok increasingly expects optimized characters rather than merely strong ones.

By Chaos++, you should be thinking about your entire build as one system.

That includes:

  • Whether your weapon condition stays active.

  • Whether important attacks are reaching their damage ceiling.

  • Whether your Master Traits match your playstyle.

  • Whether your Summon traits fill useful gaps.

  • Whether you have enough Stun Power for encounter requirements.

  • Whether you can survive without constantly interrupting your rotation.

  • Whether your AI characters are built for consistency.

Ver. 2.0.5 increased MSP rewards for many Chaos++ and Defy Infinity encounters, making this tier much more important for long-term Master Trait progression.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.5 Update Information.

Weapon Transcendence Explained

One of Endless Ragnarok’s most important changes is Weapon Transcendence.

Previously, character progression eventually pushed most players toward Ascension and Terminus Weapons.

Now, fully upgraded weapons can be developed further through Transcendence.

Cygames confirms that all weapons except bonus weapons can be transcended.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

This Makes More Weapon Types Relevant

Stinger, Defender, Ascension, Terminus, and other weapon paths can have legitimate roles depending on the character and progression stage.

A character that can reliably maintain a Stinger condition may get more practical value from that weapon than from an unfinished Terminus setup.

A player struggling to survive Chaos can get significant value from a Defender-oriented build while still dealing respectable damage.

Do not automatically equip a Terminus Weapon simply because it was the old endgame standard.

A properly transcended weapon that matches your current build can be much more useful than an outdated or poorly developed alternative.

Terminus Weapons Are Easier to Obtain

Endless Ragnarok also reduces some of the friction surrounding original-game Terminus Weapons.

Cygames added a treasure called Ultimate Memory.

Ultimate Memories can be obtained from:

  • The Final Report.

  • The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage.

Once the appropriate requirement is cleared, they can be used at the blacksmith to forge Terminus Weapons.

That gives players an alternative to relying entirely on the original drop process.

Cygames also reduced some awakening material requirements for Terminus Weapons.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

This is another reason returning players should check the new systems before repeating old farming routes.

New Weapons for Seofon, Tweyen, and Sandalphon

Endless Ragnarok also expands the weapon options for three previously added characters.

Cygames added new Stinger and Terminus Weapons for:

  • Seofon.

  • Tweyen.

  • Sandalphon.

Their new Stinger weapons use Chaos Refinium, which is associated with Conflux Cycle 2 rewards.

Their new Terminus weapons require a Mythic Artifact, associated with Conflux Cycle 4.

The added weapons include:

  • Spada di Vento for Seofon.

  • Hercules for Tweyen.

  • Sword of Michael for Sandalphon.

  • Sword of Eternal Splendor for Seofon.

  • Bow of Eternal Splendor for Tweyen.

  • Efes for Sandalphon.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

These characters should therefore be rebuilt with Endless Ragnarok equipment in mind instead of relying exclusively on their previous loadouts.

Six New Playable Characters

Endless Ragnarok adds six playable characters.

Each is unlocked differently.

Beatrix

Beatrix is an aggressive melee character tied to the Society and the seal weapon Embrasque.

She can be unlocked with a normal Crewmate Card.

Her combat revolves around Delta Clock, which changes her combat state and gives her a more technical rhythm than a straightforward basic attacker.

Source: Cygames — Beatrix Character Page and Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

Eustace

Eustace is a ranged Society fighter using his weapon Flamek Thunder.

Like Beatrix, he can be unlocked with a regular Crewmate Card.

His ranged gameplay makes him especially useful against bosses that punish constant melee positioning.

Source: Cygames — Eustace Character Page.

Gallanza

Gallanza returns as a playable fighter built around his huge spear and heavy frontline combat.

His special Crewmate Card becomes available through progression associated with new Hard-difficulty content during Chapter Ø.

Source: Cygames — Gallanza Character Page and Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

Maglielle

Maglielle joins Gallanza as another formerly non-playable character.

She fights using magical blades and offers a very different mid-range style.

Her special Crewmate Card is obtained through the same Chapter Ø progression route described for Gallanza.

Source: Cygames — Maglielle Character Page.

Fraux

Fraux becomes obtainable by progressing through the Endless Ragnarok story.

Alternatively, Cygames allows two normal Crewmate Cards to be used instead of her special unlock method.

She is a close-range fighter connected to The Devil and provides one of the expansion’s more aggressive new playstyles.

Source: Cygames — Fraux Character Page and Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

Fediel

Fediel also joins through Endless Ragnarok story progression or by spending two ordinary Crewmate Cards.

She is one of the Six Dragons and uses darkness-themed combat mechanics.

Fediel was adjusted in Ver. 2.0.5, so players should be cautious with very early post-launch guides.

Cygames reduced the maximum level of her Enhanced Combo Finishers effect and adjusted magic-orb damage when the enhancement is inactive.

The intention was to discourage repeatedly exploiting low-level finishers instead of properly building her mechanic.

Source: Cygames — Fediel Character Page and Ver. 2.0.5 Update Information.

New Sigils and Damage Cap Progression

Chaos and higher quests introduce new Sigils.

This matters because old Relink endgame builds were heavily constrained by Damage Cap.

Endless Ragnarok gives players additional ways to increase both raw performance and the ceiling that limits damage.

Cygames also added an extremely useful training feature.

When fighting Sir Barrold, you can display attacks as a percentage of their current damage cap.

If an attack reaches 100% or higher, Cygames specifically recommends increasing damage-cap effects to raise potential damage further.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

Use Sir Barrold Before Rebuilding Everything

Do not blindly copy a high-end build.

Test:

  • Normal attacks.

  • Combo finishers.

  • Main damage skills.

  • Charged attacks.

  • Character-specific enhanced states.

Some attacks may be capped while others are not.

If your important attacks are far below their cap, additional raw offense may help.

If they are already heavily exceeding the ceiling, adding more ATK without more Damage Cap may accomplish very little.

This makes Sir Barrold one of your most useful build tools in Endless Ragnarok.

Buffs and Debuffs Became More Important

Endless Ragnarok also changed the way several combat buffs and debuffs interact with damage.

Previously, extra damage from effects such as ATK Up could effectively be lost once the normal damage cap was reached.

Cygames changed the calculation so this additional damage is no longer handled in exactly the same way by the old cap.

Several status effects can also now stack additively.

Because this increased their potential power, Cygames reduced the values of numerous affected skills to maintain balance.

Characters touched by those adjustments include:

  • Captain.

  • Rackam.

  • Eugen.

  • Charlotta.

  • Ghandagoza.

  • Ferry.

  • Narmaya.

  • Vane.

  • Percival.

  • Siegfried.

  • Cagliostro.

  • Yodarha.

  • Zeta.

  • Vaseraga.

  • Seofon.

  • Sandalphon.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

The practical takeaway is that party buffs and debuffs should not be dismissed just because your basic attacks are already capped.

Link Attacks and Stun Still Matter

Do not become so focused on new systems that you forget Relink’s original party mechanics.

Enemies have a Stun Gauge.

Fill it and you can trigger a Link Attack.

Raise Link Level to 100% and successfully trigger another Link Attack to enter Link Time, slowing enemies while empowering your party.

Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Systems.

Harder Endless Ragnarok encounters make this increasingly valuable.

Stun gives your team:

  • Safer damage windows.

  • Easier charged attacks.

  • Better skill uptime.

  • More predictable burst opportunities.

  • Additional control over aggressive bosses.

Do not automatically discard Stun Power because it does not increase a training-dummy number directly.

Best Way to Spend Resources

Endless Ragnarok can overwhelm returning players because suddenly almost everything needs materials.

You have:

  • Weapons.

  • Transcendence.

  • Master Traits.

  • Sigils.

  • Summons.

  • Wrightstones.

  • New characters.

  • Multiple AI companions.

Trying to perfect everything simultaneously is inefficient.

Prioritize Your Main Character

Your main should receive the first serious investment.

Focus on:

  • A good transcended weapon.

  • Useful Master Traits.

  • Adequate Damage Cap.

  • Reliable survival.

  • Strong core Sigils.

  • Useful Summons.

You do not need a mathematically perfect final build immediately.

You need a build capable of clearing the next content tier.

Build Three Reliable AI Companions

Solo progression becomes far easier when AI teammates are properly developed.

Do not leave them with outdated weapons and random Sigils while spending everything on your main.

AI characters benefit greatly from:

  • Survivability.

  • Reliable weapon conditions.

  • Damage Cap.

  • Stun.

  • Useful support skills.

  • Cooldown effects where appropriate.

  • Character-specific traits the AI uses effectively.

A strong main cannot compensate forever for three severely underbuilt companions.

Avoid Overinvesting in Temporary Gear

If you know a stronger progression system is about to unlock, do not spend hours perfecting a temporary piece.

Improve it enough to get through the next barrier.

Then reassess.

MSP Farming

MSP becomes one of Endless Ragnarok’s major long-term resources because Master Traits consume large amounts of it.

At launch, players quickly found MSP progression demanding.

Cygames responded in Ver. 2.0.5 by increasing rewards from high-level quests.

Examples include:

  • Several Chaos++ quests increasing from 30,000 to 50,000 MSP.

  • Four Dragons of the Apocalypse increasing to 140,000 MSP.

  • Several other Chaos++ encounters increasing to 75,000 MSP.

  • Defy Infinity quests increasing from 50,000 to 250,000 MSP.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.5 Update Information.

That makes deep-endgame quests the natural destination for heavy Master Trait farming once your party can clear them reliably.

Earlier in progression, community players have found several Chaos and Chaos+ quests useful for MSP depending on clear speed.

Treat those routes as community farming discoveries rather than fixed official recommendations.

Community source: GranblueFantasyRelink Reddit — current MSP farming discussions.

Crossplay Makes Co-Op Easier

Endless Ragnarok adds crossplay between supported platforms.

Cygames lists crossplay across:

  • Nintendo Switch 2.

  • PlayStation 5.

  • PlayStation 4.

  • Steam.

Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Systems.

This is a significant quality-of-life change for the endgame.

Relink’s hardest content benefits greatly from real players who understand their characters.

A broader matchmaking pool means you are less dependent on finding players using exactly the same platform.

Backup Characters

Another useful addition is the Backup Character system.

You can borrow a character registered by another player to fill a place in your party.

This can help when:

  • Your own roster is underdeveloped.

  • You need a different role.

  • You want to test another character setup.

  • One of your AI characters is considerably weaker.

  • You want to see how a more developed build performs.

Backup Characters are managed through the quest counter.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information and Endless Ragnarok Systems.

It is a useful system, but it should not replace developing your own core party.

Assist Mode Works in More Content

Players who primarily want to experience the story also have additional options.

In original Relink, Assist Mode had restrictions at higher difficulties.

Endless Ragnarok expands its availability.

Cygames states that Assist Mode and Full Assist Mode can be used through eligible Chaos content up to the end of the Endless Ragnarok story.

Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Systems.

This makes the expansion considerably more accessible to players who are interested in the story and character progression but do not want every encounter to demand high-level action execution.

Common Endless Ragnarok Mistakes

Perfecting Old Gear Before Entering Chaos

Do not spend dozens of hours finishing every old objective just because it used to be mandatory endgame progression.

Reach the required strength.

Unlock Chaos.

Then use Endless Ragnarok’s newer systems.

Ignoring the Conflux

The Conflux provides valuable catch-up and upgrade materials.

Even if you prefer ordinary boss quests, progressing its Cycles is directly tied to expansion progression and useful rewards.

Ignoring Master Traits

Master Traits are not optional flavor.

They can fundamentally change character mechanics and represent a large portion of Fatebreaker progression.

Spreading MSP Across the Entire Roster

A partially upgraded roster may feel weaker than four properly developed characters.

Prioritize the party you actually play.

Using an Old Weapon Without Transcendence

Weapon Transcendence changes the equipment hierarchy.

Compare actual transcended weapon performance rather than relying on a pre-expansion tier list.

Stacking ATK Without Checking Damage Cap

Use Sir Barrold.

If you are already far above your damage ceiling, more raw power may not solve your problem.

Building Only for Damage

Chaos and Chaos++ punish mistakes.

Improved Dodge, HP, Guts, Autorevive, guarding, defensive Master Traits, and other comfort effects can increase real DPS by keeping you alive and attacking.

Ignoring Stun

Stun leads into Link Attacks and Link Time.

Harder encounters often make controlled damage windows extremely valuable.

Following Launch-Day Fediel Guides

Fediel changed in Ver. 2.0.5.

Use current information when deciding her Master Traits and combat rotation.

Farming the Conflux Forever

The Conflux is fantastic for progression and specific materials, but community players reaching late Chaos++ have noted that normal high-end quests become more attractive for resources such as MSP, Sigils, and Summons.

Use the Conflux for what it is good at rather than assuming one activity must remain the best source for every resource forever.

Community source: GranblueFantasyRelink Reddit — late-game Conflux reward discussion.

What to Focus on After Reaching Chaos

Once Chaos is open, simplify the game into a few priorities.

Improve One Main Weapon

Choose a Transcendence path you can reliably activate.

A theoretically superior conditional weapon does not help if your playstyle rarely satisfies its effect.

Develop Your Master Traits

Spend MSP on meaningful Master Trait breakpoints for your main.

Understand what each of the three styles is trying to accomplish instead of selecting traits only because they increase PWR.

Start Building a Useful Summon Set

Look at the traits.

Your four Summon slots can eventually solve build problems that previously consumed Sigil space.

Replace Weak Old Sigils

Chaos introduces stronger options.

Keep useful old Sigils, but do not assume every Proud-era piece deserves a permanent slot.

Develop Your AI Party

Your main character may survive Chaos, but Chaos++ will expose badly undergeared companions.

Start fixing them early.

Push Content Instead of Chasing Perfection

The next difficulty often unlocks better farming opportunities.

Whenever you are strong enough to clear the progression requirement, consider moving forward before committing to another long grind.

Current Endless Ragnarok Version

As of this guide, the current official update is Ver. 2.0.6, released on September 17, 2026.

The update fixed several issues, including a bug where certain single-level Sigils could incorrectly drop at Trait Level 11 rather than the intended Trait Level 15.

Affected Sigils included:

  • War Elemental.

  • Untouchable.

  • Potent Greens.

  • Roll of the Die.

  • Flight over Fight.

Affected Sigils already in players’ inventories were corrected.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.6 Update Information.

Cygames had previously stated that the team was reviewing character gameplay, MSP gain, and overall game balance, and Ver. 2.0.5 subsequently included major MSP reward adjustments.

Because balance can continue changing, very specific build rankings should always be checked against the latest patch information.

FAQ

What is Endless Ragnarok?

Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok expands Relink with a new story chapter, Chaos difficulty, the Conflux, Master Traits, Summons, Primal Bursts, Weapon Transcendence, new Sigils, new bosses, six playable characters, crossplay, and additional endgame progression.

How do I start Endless Ragnarok?

Cygames requires progression through the original Relink endgame, including clearing The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage and reaching the required Conflux point. The Endless Ragnarok chapter itself requires The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage and Cycle 3 of the Conflux.

How do I unlock the Conflux?

Start the new side quest in Seedhollow that becomes available during Chapter 6 of the original main story before departing for Dahli Island.

Do I need every Terminus Weapon before starting Endless Ragnarok?

No. Focus on becoming strong enough to clear the required progression. Endless Ragnarok adds catch-up systems, forgeable Terminus Weapons, Weapon Transcendence, and newer equipment that reduce the need to perfect every old endgame grind first.

What is Fatebreaker?

Fatebreaker is the new Skyfarer Grade associated with Endless Ragnarok’s higher-end progression. It unlocks major systems including Master Traits and Summons.

What are Master Traits?

Master Traits are character-specific progression choices available to level 100 Fatebreaker characters. Spending MSP raises Master Level, allowing more traits to be equipped. Each character has three Master Style directions and can unlock passive Style Perks.

How many Summons can I equip?

Up to four Summons can be equipped. Each has its own trait, so Summons function as both combat tools and another layer of character building.

What are Primal Bursts?

Primal Bursts are powerful attacks involving Proto Bahamut or Excavallion that can be triggered after fulfilling the appropriate conditions and performing a Full Burst.

What is Chaos difficulty?

Chaos is Endless Ragnarok’s new high-level quest tier. It introduces expansion story progression, Ragnalia enemies, new encounters, new Sigils, new materials, and progression toward Chaos+ and Chaos++.

Are Terminus Weapons still useful?

Yes, but they are no longer the only serious endgame path. Weapon Transcendence allows almost every normal weapon to grow further, giving Stinger, Defender, Ascension, Terminus, and other weapon types more relevance.

What is Weapon Transcendence?

Transcendence is an additional upgrade system for fully upgraded weapons. Cygames states that every weapon except bonus weapons can be transcended.

What should returning players farm first?

Progress the Conflux, strengthen a main character enough to reach Chaos, unlock Fatebreaker systems, begin Weapon Transcendence, and start developing Master Traits and Summons. Avoid spending excessive time perfecting Proud-era equipment unless you genuinely need it to clear the unlock requirements.

Is the Conflux the best farming activity forever?

No. It is extremely useful for catch-up, weapon materials, Sigil materials, awakening resources, and certain targeted rewards. Later Chaos++ and Defy Infinity content becomes more important for resources such as large amounts of MSP.

Which new characters are available?

Endless Ragnarok adds Beatrix, Eustace, Gallanza, Maglielle, Fraux, and Fediel.

Can I play Endless Ragnarok solo?

Yes. Relink supports a four-character AI party, the Conflux itself is designed as a single-player mode, Backup Characters can strengthen your party, and Assist Mode availability was expanded for story progression.

Conclusion

Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok is best approached as a new endgame ecosystem, not simply another difficulty added on top of the original game.

Your first priority should be reaching the content rather than perfectly completing everything that came before it.

Use the Conflux to strengthen characters and obtain useful materials. Clear The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage and reach Cycle 3 to enter the new story. Push toward Fatebreaker so Master Traits and Summons become available. Start transcending weapons instead of assuming every old Terminus setup remains automatically best. Use Chaos Sigils and Sir Barrold’s damage-cap display to rebuild characters around the new combat ceiling.

From there, progression naturally becomes about specialization.

Your main character gets deeper Master Traits. Your Summon collection fills build gaps. Your weapons move through Transcendence. Your AI party becomes strong enough for Chaos+ and Chaos++. Eventually, Defy Infinity and other high-end encounters become the places where fully developed Endless Ragnarok builds are tested.

The biggest mistake is getting trapped in an old grind because an older Relink guide said you needed it.

Progress first. Optimize second. Perfect the build when the content actually demands it.

That mindset gets you into the new systems faster and makes the expansion’s enormous progression layer much easier to understand.

For players who want extra help clearing difficult content or developing their characters, BoostRoom can help you continue your Granblue Fantasy: Relink progression while you focus on the parts of Endless Ragnarok you enjoy most.
