Granblue Relink Conflux Guide

The Conflux is one of the most important progression systems in Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok. Instead of repeatedly farming individual quests for every weapon material, Sigil upgrade, awakening component, or rare resource, the Conflux lets you enter a solo roguelike-style run, clear different Areas, collect temporary Auras, earn permanent Resonance upgrades, and choose targeted treasure bundles at the end.

What Is the Conflux?

The Conflux is a single-player roguelike mode introduced in Endless Ragnarok.

Cygames describes it as a mysterious dimension where players solve challenges, fight through multiple battles, collect unique buffs, and reach progressively deeper trials in exchange for large amounts of character and weapon progression materials.

Unlike a normal Relink quest, you do not simply select one boss and leave after killing it.

A Conflux survey is built from multiple Areas.

As you progress:

  • You clear combat or challenge Areas.

  • You collect temporary Auras.

  • Higher Cycles introduce Conflux Points.

  • Conflux Points can be spent on additional Auras.

  • You gain permanent Resonance progression between successful runs.

  • You eventually reach Warlord's Way encounters.

  • Completing the Cycle lets you choose from targeted treasure sets.

The important idea is that the Conflux serves two purposes at once.

It is a playable roguelike mode, but it is also a catch-up and targeted farming system.

For players returning after the original Relink endgame, that second function is extremely important.

How to Unlock the Conflux

You can access the Conflux far earlier than most of Endless Ragnarok's endgame systems.

Cygames confirms that the initial Conflux side quest appears in Seedhollow during Chapter 6 of the original main story, before heading to Dahli Island. Starting that quest unlocks the first Cycle.

Cycle 1

Cycle 1 unlocks by beginning the new Chapter 6 Conflux side quest.

You do not need to finish Proud difficulty or the original Relink endgame first.

This makes Cycle 1 useful even for players who are progressing through Relink for the first time.

Cycle 2

Cycle 2 unlocks through Hard-difficulty progression.

Its rewards move beyond very basic weapon materials and become useful for upgrading characters that are approaching the middle stages of progression.

Cycle 3

Cycle 3 unlocks through Maniac-difficulty progression.

This Cycle is particularly important because Cygames designed it around weapon uncapping, awakening materials, and rare Sigils.

Cycle 3 is also required for the main Endless Ragnarok story.

Cygames currently requires players to clear both:

  • The Tale of Bahamut's Rage.

  • Cycle 3 of the Conflux.

before starting the Endless Ragnarok chapter.

Cycles 4 and 5

The deeper Cycles unlock as you progress through the Endless Ragnarok story.

The community-maintained Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki currently lists five Cycles in total:

  • Cycle 1: Inundation.

  • Cycle 2: Desolation.

  • Cycle 3: Procession.

  • Cycle 4: Illusion.

  • Cycle 5: Coronation.

Higher Cycles contain more Areas, stronger enemies, and better reward options.

How a Conflux Run Works

A Conflux survey is divided into multiple Areas.

Each Area presents an objective.

After completing an Area, you normally choose one of three Auras.

Those Auras remain active for the current Cycle and can dramatically change how your character performs.

According to the current Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki data, the final Area of every Cycle is always Warlord's Way, while higher Cycles can contain additional Warlord's Way encounters earlier in the run.

Choose Your Route for the Current Run

Do not approach the Conflux as though every portal or Area has the same value.

Your decision should depend on:

  • Your current Auras.

  • Your character.

  • Whether you need damage or survival.

  • Whether a Calamity Aura needs to be converted.

  • Whether you need more Conflux Points.

  • Whether the upcoming boss is already easy enough.

  • What treasure bundle you entered the Cycle to obtain.

Every decision should support the purpose of that particular survey.

If your current build already destroys bosses, another defensive detour may not help.

If your character is struggling to survive, taking another pure damage Aura may be worse than fixing the actual problem.

Resonance Explained

Auras disappear when the survey ends.

Resonance does not.

The community-maintained Relink Wiki confirms that successful Cycles reward Resonance Points, with higher Cycles providing more RP.

Those points unlock permanent bonuses that function during future Conflux surveys.

This means your early Conflux experience naturally becomes easier as you continue playing.

A weak first run does not mean the mode will always feel difficult.

You are simultaneously improving:

  • Your actual Relink character.

  • Your weapons and Sigils.

  • Your understanding of the mode.

  • Your permanent Conflux Resonance bonuses.

That creates a strong snowball effect.

Prioritize Permanent Progress Early

When you are still unlocking Resonance bonuses, finishing reliable runs is usually more important than attempting risky strategies for marginally better temporary results.

A slightly slower successful clear still contributes to long-term Conflux strength.

Once the permanent progression is developed and your normal build improves, earlier Cycles can become extremely fast farming runs.

Community players regularly describe Cycle 3 and other earlier Cycles becoming trivial once Endless Ragnarok weapon progression is established.

Conflux Points Explained

Higher Cycles introduce Conflux Points, commonly shortened to CP.

CP is temporary.

It does not carry over like Resonance.

The current Relink Wiki states that CP is earned by clearing Areas, with the amount influenced by performance. CP can then be spent at Limbo's Way to obtain additional Auras.

That makes CP another resource you need to evaluate during the run.

Do Not Hoard CP Without a Reason

CP disappears with the survey.

Saving every point until the Cycle ends achieves nothing.

Spend it when an additional Aura can materially improve:

  • Damage.

  • Damage Cap.

  • Survivability.

  • Status synergy.

  • SBA generation.

  • Link Time.

  • Your ability to clear the final encounter faster.

At the same time, do not buy an Aura simply because you can.

A useless effect is still useless even if you had spare CP.

How Auras Work

Auras are the heart of the Conflux.

Every run can develop differently because your Aura selections determine how powerful your character becomes inside that particular survey.

The current Relink Wiki divides Conflux Auras into major families including:

  • Vitality.

  • Sequestration.

  • Fortification.

  • Dread.

  • Destruction.

  • Warfare.

  • Calamity and Salvation.

  • Chaos.

Picking the same Aura again can enhance it, increasing its effect for the remainder of the Cycle.

This means Aura synergy matters more than simply taking whatever has the highest rarity.

Vitality Auras

Vitality is a strong general-purpose family.

These Auras include effects connected to:

  • ATK.

  • DEF.

  • Max HP.

  • Damage Cap.

  • Damage dealt.

  • Critical rate.

  • Stun Power.

  • Elemental damage.

For a first clear, Vitality effects are often easy to use because they do not necessarily require complicated status setups.

A good Vitality Aura can simply make your normal character better.

Examples recorded by the community wiki include effects combining Damage Cap with HP, or damage dealt with additional Stun Power.

Vitality is particularly useful when you want reliable strength rather than a highly conditional build.

Sequestration Auras

Sequestration revolves heavily around Glaciate and Paralysis interactions.

These Auras can:

  • Give attacks a chance to inflict Glaciate.

  • Give attacks a chance to inflict Paralysis.

  • Increase damage against affected targets.

  • Extend control windows.

  • Improve Critical Hit performance against controlled enemies.

  • Scale other bonuses based on repeated status applications.

This family becomes much stronger when your run already has a reliable way to apply the relevant statuses.

Do not pick status-dependent Auras in isolation and then wonder why they feel weak.

Build the engine first, then take the payoff effects.

Fortification Auras

Fortification focuses heavily on Shield-based gameplay.

The family contains effects that can:

  • Create Shields.

  • Improve Shield strength.

  • Increase damage while Shielded.

  • Raise Damage Cap while protected.

  • Generate benefits when Shields break.

  • Improve SBA generation while protected.

Fortification can become extremely strong if your character or other Auras already produce frequent Shields.

If you have no reliable Shield source, however, a powerful Shield-dependent Aura may spend most of the run inactive.

This is a recurring Conflux lesson:

Read the condition, not just the percentage.

Dread Auras

Dread is strongly associated with Burn and Poison.

Effects tracked by the community wiki include:

  • Attacks gaining a chance to apply Burn.

  • Attacks gaining a chance to apply Poison.

  • Increased Damage Cap from Burn-related effects.

  • Better critical damage against poisoned enemies.

  • Increased Stun against Burning enemies.

  • Poison-triggered interactions.

  • Scaling bonuses based on repeated status applications.

Dread can create extremely strong runs when several synergistic pieces appear.

A Burn Aura alone may be modest.

Burn application plus Damage Cap scaling plus another effect that rewards attacking Burning targets is a completely different build.

Destruction Auras

Destruction leans into aggressive offensive scaling.

Current community data shows effects involving:

  • Critical Hit Rate.

  • Critical Hit Damage.

  • Supplementary Damage.

  • Supplementary Damage trigger rate.

  • Damage dealt.

  • Damage Cap.

  • Bonuses that scale from excess critical rate.

This makes Destruction one of the most attractive families for a character that is already surviving comfortably.

Do Not Waste Excess Crit

One particularly interesting Conflux effect can convert Critical Hit Rate above 100% into additional damage.

That means a stat normally considered wasted can become part of a valid run-specific strategy.

The Conflux deliberately creates situations that would make little sense in a normal permanent build.

That is part of why you should not treat Conflux Aura logic as identical to normal Sigil buildcrafting.

Warfare Auras

Warfare focuses much more heavily on SBA, Link Attacks, Link Level, Link Time, Stun, and burst mechanics.

Current Aura data includes effects that:

  • Extend Link Time.

  • Prevent Link Level from falling below a certain point.

  • Boost Damage Cap after an SBA.

  • Increase SBA Gauge Gain.

  • Add Link Level when entering new Areas.

  • Improve Link Attack damage.

These effects can produce spectacular boss phases.

A run with strong Link Time support can turn a normally dangerous encounter into an extended damage window where the enemy has very little opportunity to respond.

Warfare is especially valuable if your character already performs well during Link Time or has powerful SBA interactions.

Chaos Auras

Chaos Auras are unusual effects that can add completely new behavior to your run.

Community-tracked examples include automatic projectiles, automatic Chain Bursts, periodic magical attacks, status-inflicting attacks, and other triggered effects.

These effects can sometimes contribute much more than their description initially suggests.

They may:

  • Add passive damage.

  • Apply statuses required by other Aura families.

  • Trigger effects while you continue your normal rotation.

  • Create synergy without consuming your character's own skill slots.

Think of Chaos Auras as a way to layer additional systems on top of your normal character.

Calamity and Salvation Auras

Calamity Auras are among the most interesting Conflux mechanics.

They begin as a negative effect.

If you satisfy their condition, that penalty transforms into a powerful Salvation Aura.

The current Relink Wiki confirms this conversion system and tracks the individual conditions.

Why Calamity Auras Are Worth the Risk

One example tracked by the wiki begins with a severe ATK and DEF reduction.

After passing through the required number of qualifying Areas, the effect transforms into a major offensive and defensive bonus including additional Damage Cap.

Another Calamity effect temporarily reduces Damage Cap before eventually turning into a positive Damage Cap bonus after its Salvation requirement is completed.

The lesson is straightforward.

A Calamity Aura is an investment.

You accept temporary weakness because the final Salvation effect can be much stronger than a normal Aura.

When to Skip a Calamity Aura

Do not blindly accept every Calamity option.

Skip or reconsider it when:

  • You are already struggling with the current Cycle.

  • The next Area contains a difficult boss.

  • The penalty directly cripples your character.

  • There may not be enough qualifying Areas left to complete Salvation.

  • Your current Auras already provide enough damage to finish comfortably.

A theoretically amazing end-state bonus does not matter if the temporary penalty causes the run to fail first.

Best Aura Strategy

There is no single Aura ranking that works for every character.

A much stronger approach is to build around synergy.

Start With Reliable Power

Early in the run, prioritize effects that improve your character immediately.

Useful examples include:

  • Damage dealt.

  • Damage Cap.

  • Critical Hit Rate if you need it.

  • Max HP.

  • DEF.

  • Stun Power.

These effects stabilize the survey.

Then Build a Theme

Once the run starts giving you a direction, commit to it.

Examples:

  • Paralysis + Glaciate + Sequestration payoffs.

  • Burn + Poison + Dread bonuses.

  • Shields + Fortification.

  • High crit + Destruction.

  • SBA + Link Time + Warfare.

  • Calamity conversion + additional Salvation scaling.

A collection of five unrelated good Auras may be weaker than five Auras that actively feed each other.

Upgrade Strong Auras

Because repeated copies enhance Auras, doubling down on a powerful effect can be better than constantly adding new mechanics.

If your character is already dominating with a particular Aura package, strengthen it instead of forcing another theme into the run.

Conflux Rewards Explained

At the end of a successful Cycle, you choose from treasure sets associated with that Cycle.

The community-maintained Relink Wiki notes that higher Cycles can also allow early withdrawal before reaching the final Area, but leaving early reduces the treasure quantity compared with completing the entire Cycle.

Some treasure sets also have limited availability.

Completing Warlord's Way Areas can additionally provide Boons, which add extra treasure beyond your selected final bundle.

Cycle 1 Rewards

Cygames describes Cycle 1 as primarily providing weapon-forging materials.

This is excellent early in progression.

Instead of tracking down several low-difficulty monster quests individually, you can obtain useful forging resources from a single Conflux route.

Cycle 1 becomes much less important once your roster already owns its major weapons, but that is exactly what a catch-up Cycle should do.

Cycle 2 Rewards

Cycle 2 focuses on Sigil upgrade materials according to Cygames.

It also has one extremely important Endless Ragnarok reward.

Cygames officially confirms that Chaos Refinium is obtainable from Conflux Cycle 2.

Chaos Refinium is required to forge the new Stinger weapons added for:

  • Seofon — Spada di Vento.

  • Tweyen — Hercules.

  • Sandalphon — Sword of Michael.

That makes Cycle 2 relevant even for veteran players who would otherwise have no reason to revisit a lower Cycle.

Cycle 3 Rewards

Cycle 3 is one of the strongest catch-up Cycles in the game.

Cygames describes it as a source of:

  • Weapon uncap materials.

  • Weapon awakening materials.

  • Rare Sigils.

The current community reward database also tracks bundles for:

  • Ascension weapon awakening.

  • Terminus awakening.

  • Seofon and Tweyen's Ascension weapons.

  • Sandalphon's Ascension weapon.

  • Merits and Silver Centrums.

  • Proud-era Sigils including Damage Cap, Supplementary Damage, Improved Dodge, and War Elemental.

  • Useful Wrightstones.

This is why Cycle 3 became so popular among returning players.

Primarch Ascension Farming

One particularly useful Cycle 3 reward becomes available around Sandalphon's Ascension weapon progression.

The community-maintained reward database lists Primarch Ascension's Awakening as containing large quantities of awakening materials including Tears of the Apocalypse, Dark Residue, Canaan Whiteblooms, and Supreme Weapon Essence.

Players quickly noticed that this drastically reduces the need to repeatedly farm some older endgame encounters.

Community discussions also highlighted the bundle as an early source of materials that can indirectly support MSP progression through trades.

Treat the exact best MSP method as progression-dependent, though: later Chaos+ and post-game quests surpass early Conflux farming for raw MSP.

Cycle 4 Rewards

Cycle 4 marks an important transition into deeper Endless Ragnarok progression.

Cygames officially confirms that Mythic Artifacts come from Conflux Cycle 4.

These are required for the new Terminus weapons:

  • Seofon — Sword of Eternal Splendor.

  • Tweyen — Bow of Eternal Splendor.

  • Sandalphon — Efes.

If one of those characters is part of your main party, Cycle 4 is not optional progression.

It directly feeds their current Endless Ragnarok weapon paths.

Cycle 5 Rewards

Cycle 5: Coronation is the highest Conflux Cycle currently tracked by the community wiki.

At this stage, the mode becomes much more attractive for larger quantities of endgame materials and Transcendence progression.

Community players have specifically used Cycle 5 for:

  • Silver Centrum farming.

  • Daybreak Merit.

  • Transcendence materials.

  • Large material bundles for multiple weapon types.

However, Cycle 5 should not be treated as the final answer to every late-game farm.

Once your account reaches advanced Chaos++ and Defy Infinity progression, ordinary high-end quests begin rewarding huge amounts of materials alongside MSP and Summon drops.

Best Conflux Farming Strategy

The fastest farming method depends on what you actually need.

Need Basic Weapon Materials?

Run the lowest Cycle that contains the bundle you need.

Do not run Cycle 5 just because it is the highest number if Cycle 1 or Cycle 3 gives the exact awakening package you want faster.

Need Sigil Upgrade Materials?

Cycle 2 is designed around this stage of progression.

Need Original Endgame Awakening Materials?

Cycle 3 is frequently excellent.

It can dramatically compress grinds that previously required many different quests.

Need Chaos Refinium?

Cycle 2 is the confirmed source.

Need Mythic Artifacts?

Cycle 4 is the confirmed source.

Need Large Quantities of Centrums or Transcendence Materials?

Cycle 5 can be very useful until advanced Chaos++ farming becomes faster for your account.

When the Conflux Stops Being the Best Farm

The Conflux is extremely powerful, but it does not permanently replace every quest.

This becomes especially clear later in Chaos++.

Cygames increased MSP rewards substantially in Ver. 2.0.5.

Examples include:

  • Four Dragons of the Apocalypse — 140,000 MSP.

  • Several Chaos++ quests — 75,000 MSP.

  • Defy Infinity quests — 250,000 MSP.

Those quests can simultaneously provide:

  • MSP.

  • Summons.

  • Silver Centrums.

  • High-end progression materials.

  • Other late-game rewards.

Community players reaching deep Chaos++ increasingly describe Conflux as something they return to for specific targeted materials, rather than their universal endgame farm.

That is the correct way to think about it.

The Conflux is best when its targeted reward saves you from farming several separate quests.

If another quest now drops exactly what you need while also giving 140,000 or 250,000 MSP, that quest may be more efficient.

Best Characters for Conflux Runs

You can use almost any well-built character, but some qualities are especially useful.

High Mobility

The Conflux includes multiple Areas and different objective types.

Characters that move quickly between targets lose less time.

Strong Area Damage

Wave encounters favor characters that can clear groups without individually chasing every enemy.

Self-Sufficiency

Reliable defensive tools reduce the chance that a poor Aura selection ruins the run.

Strong Boss Burst

Warlord's Way encounters become much faster if your character can exploit Link Time, SBA windows, or short burst phases effectively.

Characters such as Charlotta, Sandalphon, Eustace, Narmaya, Seofon, and several others can all perform extremely well once sufficiently developed.

Do not build a completely new character only because somebody calls them the “best Conflux character.”

A highly developed main usually clears faster than an underbuilt meta pick.

Common Conflux Mistakes

Farming the Highest Cycle for Everything

Higher is not automatically better.

Choose the Cycle containing the resource you actually need.

Picking Auras Only by Rarity

A three-star effect that does not interact with your build may be worse than a one-star Aura that completes an important synergy.

Mixing Too Many Aura Themes

Burn, Shields, Paralysis, Crit, SBA, and Calamity all at once may leave you with many half-finished mechanics.

Build around what the run is already giving you.

Taking Calamity Too Late

A Calamity Aura is valuable only if you can reasonably satisfy its Salvation condition.

Do not accept a severe penalty immediately before the final encounter unless you understand exactly what you are doing.

Ignoring Resonance

Your permanent Conflux progression makes every future run easier.

Do not judge the entire mode based on your earliest survey.

Spending Hours Farming Old Quests First

The Conflux exists partly to reduce old progression friction.

Community players repeatedly report building newly unlocked characters dramatically faster through Conflux reward bundles than through the old one-quest-at-a-time route.

Expecting Conflux to Remain the Best MSP Farm

Ver. 2.0.5 changed the MSP economy significantly.

Chaos++ and Defy Infinity are now far more attractive once unlocked.

Ignoring Limited Treasure Bundles

Some reward bundles have limited claims.

Ver. 2.0.5 also fixed a bug where limited-supply Conflux bundles could incorrectly display zero stock after a player viewed them and retreated without obtaining a Boon. Cygames reset affected bundle stocks according to specific ownership conditions.

If you saw discussions about missing Conflux stock from the launch period, make sure you are using the current game version.

Current Conflux Status in Ver. 2.0.6

The current official Endless Ragnarok version is Ver. 2.0.6, released September 17, 2026.

Ver. 2.0.6 primarily addressed quest and Sigil bugs rather than substantially redesigning the Conflux.

The most important recent Conflux-specific fix remains the Ver. 2.0.5 correction to limited treasure bundle stock.

That means the fundamental Conflux structure remains:

  • Five currently documented Cycles.

  • Temporary Auras.

  • Calamity and Salvation.

  • Conflux Points in higher Cycles.

  • Permanent Resonance progression.

  • Warlord's Way encounters.

  • Targeted treasure selection.

  • Boon rewards.

  • Specialized farming for older and Endless Ragnarok materials.

FAQ

What is the Conflux in Granblue Fantasy: Relink?

How do I unlock the Conflux?

Start the new side quest that appears in Seedhollow during Chapter 6 of the original story before departing for Dahli Island.

How many Conflux Cycles are there?

The current community-maintained Granblue Fantasy Relink Wiki documents five Cycles: Inundation, Desolation, Procession, Illusion, and Coronation.

Do I need to clear the Conflux for Endless Ragnarok?

Yes. Cygames requires Cycle 3 of the Conflux plus The Tale of Bahamut's Rage to begin the Endless Ragnarok story.

Is the Conflux multiplayer?

No. Cygames describes it as a single-player mode.

What are Auras?

Auras are temporary buffs that remain active for the current survey. They can improve offense, defense, status effects, Shields, SBA generation, Link Time, Damage Cap, and other mechanics.

Do Auras carry over between runs?

No. Auras are temporary. Permanent Conflux progression comes through Resonance.

What is Resonance?

Resonance is permanent Conflux progression purchased with Resonance Points earned from successful Cycles. Its bonuses improve future surveys.

What are Conflux Points?

Conflux Points are temporary points earned during higher Cycles. They can be spent at Limbo's Way for additional Auras and disappear after the survey.

What are Calamity Auras?

Calamity Auras begin with a negative effect. Completing the listed condition converts them into beneficial Salvation Auras.

Which Cycle gives Chaos Refinium?

Cygames confirms Chaos Refinium is obtainable from Cycle 2. It is required for the Stinger weapons of Seofon, Tweyen, and Sandalphon.

Which Cycle gives Mythic Artifacts?

Cygames confirms Mythic Artifacts come from Cycle 4. They are required for the new Terminus weapons of Seofon, Tweyen, and Sandalphon.

Is Cycle 3 worth farming?

Yes. Cycle 3 is one of the strongest catch-up Cycles because it provides weapon uncap and awakening materials, rare Sigils, and access to several powerful material bundles tracked by the community.

Is Cycle 5 the best Silver Centrum farm?

Cycle 5 can provide large quantities and is a strong targeted option. At advanced Chaos++ progression, however, encounters such as Four Dragons of the Apocalypse can provide large Centrum drops while also awarding substantial MSP, so the best method depends on your account progression and clear speed.

Should I always finish a Conflux survey?

Finishing gives the full reward quantity. Higher Cycles can allow earlier withdrawal, but the community wiki notes that leaving before the end reduces the selected treasure reward.

Conclusion

The Granblue Relink Conflux is one of Endless Ragnarok's best-designed progression tools because it lets you solve specific material problems without endlessly bouncing between unrelated quests.

Early Cycles help new characters catch up.

Cycle 1 handles basic weapon forging.

Cycle 2 improves Sigils and provides Chaos Refinium.

Cycle 3 compresses old uncap and awakening farms while supplying useful rare Sigils and character-specific awakening bundles.

Cycle 4 becomes important for Mythic Artifacts and the new Terminus weapons.

Cycle 5 provides stronger Endless Ragnarok material farming and is particularly useful while pushing weapon Transcendence.

But the real depth comes from the run itself.

Auras let you turn the same character into something completely different for one survey. Sequestration can create a Paralysis and Glaciate control build. Fortification can turn Shields into offense. Dread rewards Burn and Poison. Destruction pushes critical and supplementary damage. Warfare transforms SBA and Link Time. Calamity asks you to survive temporary disadvantages in exchange for powerful Salvation effects.

The smartest strategy is not to memorize one permanent route.

Enter the Conflux knowing exactly what resource you need, build around the Auras the survey gives you, and leave once the mode stops being the most efficient solution to your current progression wall.

Later Chaos++ and Defy Infinity content will eventually replace the Conflux for some high-end farming, especially MSP. That does not make the Conflux obsolete. It simply changes its role from universal catch-up system to a highly efficient source of specific weapon, Sigil, awakening, and Transcendence materials.

For players who want additional help progressing through difficult Relink content, BoostRoom can help you continue building your characters while you focus on mastering Endless Ragnarok's deeper systems.
