Granblue Relink Best Builds

The best Granblue Fantasy: Relink builds have changed dramatically with Endless Ragnarok. Old endgame setups built almost entirely around Terminus Weapons, Tyranny, Stamina, and stacks of Damage Cap are no longer the complete answer. Weapon Transcendence, Master Traits, Summons, new Chaos sigils, higher stat limits, and new damage calculations have opened several powerful build paths.

How Endless Ragnarok Changed Relink Builds

Endless Ragnarok fundamentally changed character building.

Cygames officially added Weapon Transcendence, Master Traits, Summons, Chaos difficulty, new sigils, higher stat caps, and a damage-cap readout on Sir Barrold. Level 100 characters can unlock Master Traits after reaching Fatebreaker, while up to four Summons can be equipped once the system is unlocked. New sigils also begin appearing from Chaos-difficulty quests onward.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

That matters because older Relink guides were built around a much narrower problem: raise attack until capped, stack Damage Cap, then add supplementary damage.

The current game gives you many more ways to raise your ceiling.

Weapon Transcendence Matters More Than Before

Do not automatically assume an old Terminus Weapon is your best weapon simply because it was best before Endless Ragnarok.

Cygames now allows every non-bonus weapon to be transcended after being fully upgraded. Different weapon types can therefore support different build conditions instead of every character automatically funneling into Terminus.

Current community testing commonly favors weapon conditions that a character can maintain consistently. Stinger and Defender paths are especially popular during progression because critical-hit and high-HP conditions can be easier to maintain than a risky glass-cannon requirement.

The correct question is no longer:

“What is the strongest weapon?”

It is:

“Which transcended weapon gives this character the strongest bonus that I can keep active throughout a real boss fight?”

Master Traits Create Different Versions of the Same Character

Master Traits unlock for level 100 characters after reaching Fatebreaker.

You spend MSP to increase Master Level, which allows more Master Traits to be equipped. Equipping enough traits from a particular Master Style unlocks passive Style Perks.

Cygames describes each character as having traits focused around three different play styles, meaning two players can build the same character around significantly different combat loops.

Source: Cygames — Systems: Master Traits.

This is why a modern “best build” cannot only list Sigils.

Your build now includes:

  • Weapon and Transcendence condition.

  • Master Trait direction.

  • Sigil primary traits.

  • Sigil secondary traits.

  • Wrightstone.

  • Summons.

  • Skills.

  • Over Mastery.

  • Character-specific mechanics.

  • Party composition.

  • The boss you are actually fighting.

All of those pieces interact.

Best General Endgame Build

For most damage-oriented characters, the strongest general setup is a balanced cap-breaking build.

The goal is to reach your normal damage ceiling efficiently, then invest remaining slots into effects that continue increasing actual damage, utility, stun, and survivability.

Start by Checking Your Damage Cap

Endless Ragnarok added an extremely useful feature to Sir Barrold.

While training, you can display your damage as a percentage of damage cap. Cygames specifically explains that when your percentage reaches 100% or higher, adding more Damage Cap effects can increase your actual damage.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

This should be one of the first things you check whenever rebuilding a character.

Do not blindly copy somebody else's amount of ATK, Tyranny, Stamina, or Damage Cap. Test your own attacks.

Different characters cap different parts of their kit at different speeds.

Your normal attacks may already be capped while a major skill still needs more offensive power.

Or your raw attack may be enormously overbuilt while your actual ceiling is too low.

Use Sir Barrold instead of guessing.

Core Damage Priorities

Current optimized builds generally revolve around several layers.

  • Enough Damage Cap to support your actual damage.

Damage Cap remains essential, but there is no reason to keep stacking it blindly after your important attacks have enough room to grow.

  • Fatebreaker and Endless Ragnarok offensive sigils.

New Chaos-tier sigils provide additional ways to increase the ceiling beyond old base-game builds.

  • Celestial effects.

Current community testing places particular value on Celestial effects that increase effective final damage or create additional cap scaling under conditions you can reliably maintain.

  • War Elemental.

War Elemental remains valuable because it causes attacks to count as the superior element. Cygames describes this effect directly in the Endless Ragnarok bonus-set documentation.

Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Supplementary Damage V & War Elemental Sigil Set.

  • Supplementary and Echo-type damage.

Once ordinary attacks are already reaching their ceilings, additional damage instances become increasingly attractive because simply adding more raw ATK may accomplish very little.

  • Character-specific Sigils.

Many characters rely on unique Sigils or Warpath effects that modify their actual gameplay rather than simply adding generic stats.

The result is a build that raises the ceiling and gives your character additional ways to reach or exceed it.

Why Raw ATK Is Less Important Than Many Players Think

One of the easiest ways to waste slots is to keep stacking attack after your attacks are already capped.

Endless Ragnarok makes this mistake even easier because characters can reach enormous PWR values.

Community testing shortly after launch found many characters running well above 100% damage-cap efficiency while still using older combinations such as Tyranny and Stamina. Players often gained more actual damage by replacing redundant raw offense with newer cap or post-cap options.

Source: GranblueFantasyRelink Reddit community — “Helpful note: Stamina & Tyranny in builds might be a waste of space now”.

That does not mean Tyranny and Stamina are useless.

It means they should solve a problem.

If you need them to reach your ceiling, use them.

If Sir Barrold shows that your important attacks are already heavily overcapped, those slots may produce more value as Damage Cap, Celestial effects, survivability, stun, cooldown utility, or supplementary damage.

Build for actual damage, not the biggest ATK number on your character screen.

Best Sigils for Current Endgame Builds

There is no universal twelve-Sigil loadout anymore, but a modern endgame build usually draws from the same families of effects.

Damage Cap

Damage Cap remains one of the foundations of Relink.

Your exact requirement depends on:

  • Weapon.

  • Weapon Transcendence.

  • Master Traits.

  • Character.

  • Over Mastery.

  • Wrightstone.

  • Summons.

  • Chaos sigils.

  • The specific attacks you are optimizing.

Some optimized Endless Ragnarok builds use fewer conventional Damage Cap Sigils because other systems are supplying part of the required ceiling.

Do not remove them simply because somebody else's screenshot has fewer.

Check your own cap percentage.

Fatebreaker

Fatebreaker effects are among the new tools used to push Endless Ragnarok builds beyond the old endgame.

These effects become especially relevant in the Chaos ecosystem, where your character has far more sources of power than in Proud-era builds.

Celestial Sigils

Celestial Sigils have become a major part of high-end optimization.

Community testing particularly values Aqua, Ventus, Lumen, and Terra, although their actual usefulness depends on whether your character and encounter can comfortably satisfy their conditions.

Community theorycrafting consistently warns against treating every Celestial Sigil as equally valuable.

Source: GranblueFantasyRelink Reddit community — Updated Endgame Build Infographic.

This is an important point.

A theoretically stronger conditional effect is worse than a slightly weaker effect you maintain for the entire fight.

War Elemental

War Elemental remains an excellent all-purpose offensive choice.

Cygames also corrected a Ver. 2.0.6 bug in which several one-level traits—including War Elemental—could incorrectly be obtained at Trait Level 11 rather than their intended Trait Level 15.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.6 Update Information.

If you obtained affected Sigils before the fix, the update corrects them in your inventory.

Supplementary Damage

Supplementary Damage remains valuable because it creates additional damage opportunities after your normal build is already heavily capped.

It is particularly attractive for characters producing many hits.

Cygames officially describes Supplementary Damage V as adding a supplementary-damage trigger rate.

Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Supplementary Damage V & War Elemental Sigil Set.

Berserker Echo and Spartan Echo

Current community endgame testing frequently includes both Echo effects among the strongest offensive pieces once a build's normal foundations are covered.

They are especially valuable because Endless Ragnarok provides more equipment layers, allowing expensive effects to be moved between Sigils, Wrightstones, and Summons depending on what you roll.

Community source: GranblueFantasyRelink Reddit — Endgame Damage Testing Summary.

Improved Dodge

Damage means nothing while you are lying on the floor.

Improved Dodge remains one of the best comfort traits for actual progression, particularly when learning Chaos and Chaos++ fights.

A perfect theoretical build that fails encounters is not a good build.

Auto Revive and Guts

These remain extremely useful while learning difficult encounters.

Cygames itself describes Guts as allowing you to survive lethal damage with 1 HP and Autorevive as automatically recovering your character from critical condition.

Source: Cygames — Endless Ragnarok Guts III & Autorevive III Sigil Set.

Once you can clear consistently without them, you can decide whether the slots are better spent elsewhere.

Quick Cooldown, Cascade, and Uplift

These are character-dependent.

A skill-heavy character may get much more value from cooldown reduction than a character whose main damage comes from normal attacks.

Uplift becomes valuable when your party strategy relies heavily on Skybound Arts, full bursts, Link manipulation, or Primal Bursts.

Do not add utility just because it appears in another build.

Add it because your character converts it into something useful.

Sigil Trait Order Now Matters

This is one of the easiest Endless Ragnarok mechanics to miss.

Some Master Trait bonuses care about the category of the Sigil's primary trait.

That means:

Improved Dodge / Damage Cap can interact differently with Master Traits than Damage Cap / Improved Dodge.

The effects printed on the Sigil may look almost identical, but the game can classify the Sigil differently based on the first trait.

Community players discovered that clever Sigil synthesis can therefore preserve offensive secondary traits while allowing the primary slot to count as Basic, Support, or Defense for Master Trait bonuses.

Source: GameFAQs community — “Tip: Synthesize your sigils to reverse the order of traits”.

Updated community endgame templates have used this to add significant HP and defense without sacrificing as much offensive value as old builds would require.

Source: GranblueFantasyRelink Reddit — Updated Endgame Build Infographic.

Do not recycle a good Sigil merely because its traits appear in the “wrong” order until you understand how your Master Traits use primary categories.

Best Weapon Build Paths

Weapon Transcendence is one of Endless Ragnarok's biggest improvements because different weapon families finally have meaningful endgame identities.

Cygames confirms that all weapons except bonus weapons can be transcended once fully upgraded.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

Stinger Build

A Stinger-oriented build is attractive when your character can maintain the required critical-hit conditions comfortably.

This is a popular route because critical consistency is relatively straightforward to understand and test.

It works especially well for characters whose attack patterns produce many hits and who already want reliable critical rate.

Defender Build

Defender transcendence supports high-HP builds.

This is one of the biggest reasons tankier setups have become genuinely competitive instead of simply being “safe but slow.”

You can build enough durability to survive Chaos punishment while still obtaining meaningful offensive scaling from the weapon system.

This is excellent for:

  • Progression.

  • AI characters.

  • Players learning difficult bosses.

  • Characters naturally benefiting from HP or defensive Master Traits.

  • Anyone tired of being deleted by one mistake.

Executioner Build

Executioner setups reward characters that can satisfy their offensive condition consistently.

They can be very strong when a boss offers predictable positioning or weak-point access, but a condition that works perfectly against Sir Barrold may become awkward against a constantly turning or highly mobile enemy.

Test against actual bosses before committing rare resources.

Stunner Build

Stun is much more relevant in current endgame than many launch-era guides suggest.

Chaos++ encounters contain meaningful stun checks, while Link Attacks and Link Time remain powerful party mechanics.

Cygames confirms that filling an enemy's stun gauge enables Link Attacks, and reaching 100% Link Level before another successful Link Attack activates Link Time.

Source: Cygames — Systems: Link Attacks.

Characters already good at stun can gain substantial party value from leaning further into it.

Terminus Build

Terminus Weapons are not dead.

They simply are no longer automatically the only answer.

Fully developed Terminus setups can still provide enormous damage, but their build conditions may demand greater sacrifices than safer weapon paths.

Use Terminus when your character, Master Traits, and playstyle can exploit it—not because a 2024 guide told you every character must equip one.

Sandalphon Best Build

Sandalphon remains an outstanding candidate for a high-end transformation-focused DPS build.

His strongest setups revolve around maximizing the value of his enhanced combat states rather than simply increasing generic ATK.

Build Priority

Build Sandalphon around transformation uptime, Damage Cap, post-cap damage, and enough cooldown or utility to keep his combat loop moving.

For Endless Ragnarok, Cygames added two important Sandalphon weapons:

  • Sword of Michael — Stinger

  • Efes — Terminus

The Sword of Michael requires Chaos Refinium associated with Conflux Cycle 2 progression, while Efes uses the Mythic Artifact associated with Cycle 4.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

This gives Sandalphon legitimate alternatives instead of leaving him locked to his previous weapon situation.

What to Prioritize

Focus on:

  • Damage Cap appropriate to your current weapon.

  • Master Traits that improve the combat state you use most.

  • War Elemental.

  • Strong Celestial options.

  • Supplementary or Echo damage.

  • Cooldown support where it meaningfully improves transformation uptime.

  • Enough defensive utility to avoid losing entire damage windows.

Recent community build testing still places enormous emphasis on maximizing Sandalphon's enhanced-state uptime rather than stacking random offensive Sigils.

Community source: DarkHero 2 — Sandalphon Endless Ragnarok Build Guide.

Charlotta Best Build

Charlotta is ideal for a high-uptime melee build.

Her value comes from spending as much time attacking as possible while using her kit's mobility and defensive tools to avoid being forced away from the boss.

Build Priority

Build for Noble Stance uptime, Damage Cap, continuous pressure, and enough defensive support to stay aggressive.

Charlotta does not benefit from turning herself into a slow burst character.

She wants to keep moving and keep hitting.

Her Warpath-oriented gameplay has historically rewarded Noble Stance pressure, and current Master Traits give players even more room to build around that loop.

Community Endless Ragnarok players have also experimented successfully with defensive Charlotta setups that use improved guarding while maintaining strong Noble Stance access.

Source: GranblueFantasyRelink Reddit — Endless Ragnarok Charlotta build discussion.

Do not overdo defense, however.

One of the clearest warnings from current players is that it is possible to become nearly impossible to kill while sacrificing so much offense that Infinity or Chaos clears become unnecessarily slow.

The correct Charlotta build is not “maximum defense.”

It is enough defense to preserve maximum uptime.

Eustace Best Build

Eustace is one of the characters who benefits most from Endless Ragnarok's expanded build system.

His ranged play lets him continue dealing damage during movement-heavy encounters where melee characters lose time chasing the boss.

Build Priority

Focus on ranged uptime, charged-shot efficiency, reload flow, damage-skill cycling, and cap-breaking effects.

Community Master Trait testing has produced strong skill-oriented Eustace builds where charged Grade IV attacks interact with cooldown-focused effects, allowing him to cycle major damage skills more frequently.

Community source: Endless Ragnarok Wiki — Eustace Lightning Soldier Build.

For practical play, prioritize:

  • Damage Cap.

  • Reliable crit if your weapon condition rewards it.

  • Skill cooldown where your Master Style converts it into actual damage.

  • War Elemental.

  • Celestial effects.

  • Supplementary and Echo damage.

  • Defensive utility only as necessary.

Current players consistently praise Eustace's sustained ranged damage against mobile targets.

Community source: GranblueFantasyRelink Reddit — Eustace Endgame Experience Discussion.

The biggest mistake is building him as though he were merely a generic ranged attacker.

His reload and charged-shot mechanics should determine the build.

Cagliostro Best Build

Cagliostro works exceptionally well as a support-DPS hybrid.

She should not be built as a healer who contributes nothing offensively.

She can provide party utility while still producing meaningful personal damage.

Build Priority

Build enough personal offense to remain relevant, then preserve the skills and traits that improve total party output.

Phantasmagoria remains one of the defining reasons to bring Cagliostro because of its offensive and defensive party utility.

Endless Ragnarok also changed the underlying calculation of buffs and debuffs.

Cygames states that extra damage from effects such as ATK Up and DEF Down is no longer lost simply because the normal damage cap was reached. Similar status effects can now stack additively, although the developer reduced the values of multiple affected skills and character Sigils to maintain balance.

Cagliostro's Phantasmagoria and Founder's Strategy were explicitly among the adjusted effects.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

This makes one lesson especially important:

Do not evaluate support skills only by looking at your personal character-sheet damage.

A Cagliostro build should be judged by how much faster and safer the entire four-character party clears.

Tweyen Best Build

Tweyen remains an excellent ranged build candidate because she can maintain pressure from safer positions while taking advantage of Endless Ragnarok's new weapon choices.

Cygames added:

  • Hercules — Stinger

  • Bow of Eternal Splendor — Terminus

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

Build Priority

Build around ranged uptime, charged attacks, Damage Cap, and whichever Master Trait style best enhances your preferred attack loop.

Tweyen benefits particularly well from:

  • Cap expansion.

  • Consistent critical performance.

  • Ranged uptime.

  • Supplementary effects.

  • Character-specific traits.

  • Useful crowd-control opportunities.

  • Enough defensive utility to avoid interrupting charge patterns.

Recent community testing has produced several different viable Tweyen Master Trait setups rather than one universal solution.

Community source: MrGhoustos — Tweyen Endless Ragnarok Master Trait Builds.

That is exactly how Endless Ragnarok buildcrafting should work.

Choose the tree that supports how you actually use her.

Fediel Best Build After Ver. 2.0.5

Be extremely careful when copying early Fediel videos.

Her launch build changed.

Cygames adjusted Fediel in Ver. 2.0.5 by lowering the maximum level of Enhanced Combo Finishers from 10 to 5 and reducing magic-orb power while the effect is inactive.

The developer explained that players were dealing too much damage by repeatedly using low-level combo finishers, which discouraged the intended mechanic of raising the effect.

At maximum effect, however, Cygames says the damage remains roughly comparable to before the adjustment.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.5 Update Information.

Build Priority

Build Fediel around deliberately reaching and exploiting Enhanced Combo Finishers instead of repeatedly abusing low-stack finishers.

That means:

  • Support the mechanic rather than bypassing it.

  • Build enough durability to remain aggressive.

  • Raise your damage ceiling.

  • Add supplementary and Echo effects once your basic cap structure is solved.

  • Ignore pre-patch “broken Fediel” loops that rely on behavior changed in Ver. 2.0.5.

Fediel is still powerful.

The difference is that her current build rewards using the intended progression of her mechanic.

Narmaya Best Build

Narmaya remains one of Relink's most technical build projects.

Her power comes from combining proper stance use, butterfly management, burst timing, and boss knowledge.

Build Priority

Build Narmaya around the attacks you can actually execute consistently, not a theoretical rotation that collapses every time the boss moves.

Her strongest setups generally value:

  • Damage Cap.

  • Character-specific Sigils.

  • Stance-focused Master Traits.

  • Skill damage where appropriate.

  • Supplementary and Echo effects.

  • Enough cooldown support to preserve rotation flow.

  • Defensive comfort that prevents interrupted sequences.

Endless Ragnarok also changed parts of Narmaya directly.

Cygames reduced the attack boost granted by one butterfly to account for the new damage-cap calculations, while the SBA Gauge Gain penalty of Butterfly's Warpath was improved from -50% to -30%.

Source: Cygames — Ver. 2.0.2 Update Information.

That is another reason old Narmaya spreadsheets should not simply be copied into the current game.

Best High-HP Build

One of the most useful Endless Ragnarok developments is the rise of high-HP offensive builds.

Before the expansion, survival was frequently treated as damage you were sacrificing.

Weapon Transcendence and Master Traits make that trade much less extreme.

Who Should Use It?

A high-HP setup makes sense when:

  • You are progressing through Chaos or Chaos++.

  • You regularly lose runs to one mistake.

  • Your character can exploit Defender-style weapon scaling.

  • Your Master Traits convert Basic or defensive investment into offensive value.

  • You are building AI companions that need consistency.

  • You prefer stable clears over speedrun-level risk.

A tanky build that clears every run is more useful for farming than a glass cannon that produces spectacular numbers in one attempt and fails the next three.

Best Build for AI Companions

AI builds should not always copy player-controlled builds.

The AI does some things extremely well and other things poorly.

Your goal is consistency.

Prioritize

Give AI companions:

  • A weapon condition they can maintain.

  • Reliable Damage Cap.

  • Useful stun.

  • Survivability.

  • Character-specific effects the AI actually uses correctly.

  • Cooldown utility for characters with strong AI skill usage.

  • Auto Revive or defensive traits where deaths remain a problem.

Avoid building around extremely precise low-HP conditions unless you know the AI can reliably exploit them.

A theoretically weaker Defender-style AI character can contribute more total damage simply because it stays alive and continues attacking.

How to Build a Character From Scratch

Do not start by farming a perfect final Sigil set.

Build in layers.

First: Unlock the Modern Systems

Reach the point where you have access to:

  • Fatebreaker.

  • Master Traits.

  • Summons.

  • Chaos Sigils.

  • Weapon Transcendence.

These systems provide too much power to ignore.

Second: Transcend a Practical Weapon

Pick a condition your character can actually satisfy.

You can chase the theoretical final weapon later.

A partially functional “perfect” build is worse than a fully active good build.

Third: Fix Your Damage Ceiling

Use Sir Barrold.

Check your most important attacks.

If they are reaching or exceeding 100% of their cap, investigate additional Damage Cap sources.

If they are far below the cap, you may still need offensive power before more ceiling becomes useful.

Fourth: Add Post-Cap and Supplementary Damage

Once your normal damage structure works, add the premium effects that let the build keep growing.

Fifth: Add Survival and Utility

Then ask:

Are you dying?

Are cooldowns holding you back?

Are you failing stun checks?

Would extra SBA generation improve the party?

Is Improved Dodge saving more damage than another tiny offensive increase?

Build around those answers.

Common Build Mistakes

Copying a 2024 Endgame Build

Endless Ragnarok changed too much.

A build designed around the old Terminus meta cannot account for Master Traits, Summons, Transcendence, new Sigils, new stat caps, or current balance changes.

Automatically Using Terminus Weapons

Terminus remains strong.

It is no longer universally mandatory.

Compare the actual condition and Transcendence benefits against your other weapons.

Stacking Too Much Raw ATK

Use Sir Barrold.

If you are massively overcapping, more raw ATK may be doing almost nothing.

Ignoring Sigil Trait Order

The primary trait can matter for Master Trait category bonuses.

Two visually similar Sigils may therefore produce different overall builds.

Removing Every Defensive Trait

A dead character has zero DPS.

Especially in progression, Improved Dodge, HP, Auto Revive, Guts, guarding support, or defensive Master Traits can produce faster real clears.

Farming Perfect Sigils Before Improving Master Traits

Do not spend enormous amounts of time chasing tiny secondary improvements while major character-progression systems remain unfinished.

Weapon Transcendence and Master Levels can provide much larger gains.

Following Old Fediel Builds

Ver. 2.0.5 specifically changed the low-level Enhanced Combo Finisher strategy.

Use current information.

Building Every Character the Same Way

Charlotta wants uptime.

Eustace wants ranged execution.

Narmaya cares about stance flow.

Cagliostro adds party value.

Fediel revolves around Enhanced Combo Finishers.

Their builds should reflect those differences.

Best Build Philosophy for Chaos and Chaos++

The hardest content rewards builds that can survive long enough to execute their full offensive plan.

Community testing often begins from a structure containing substantial Damage Cap, Stun Power, Celestial effects, War Elemental, Echo effects, supplementary damage, and selected defensive utility.

But those are ingredients—not a mandatory recipe.

Source: GranblueFantasyRelink Reddit — Endgame Damage Testing Summary.

The best approach is:

Reach your damage ceiling efficiently, raise that ceiling, add effects that continue scaling after it, then spend remaining space fixing whatever causes your runs to fail.

That philosophy works on almost every character.

FAQ

What is the best build in Granblue Fantasy: Relink right now?

For most DPS characters, a balanced Transcendence build combining sufficient Damage Cap, newer Chaos/Celestial effects, War Elemental, supplementary or Echo damage, and character-specific Master Traits is the strongest general approach. Exact Sigils depend heavily on character and weapon condition.

Are Terminus Weapons still the best?

Not automatically. Endless Ragnarok added Weapon Transcendence for virtually every normal weapon, creating viable Stinger, Defender, Executioner, Stunner, Ascension, and Terminus paths. Choose based on the condition your character can maintain reliably.

How do I know if I need more Damage Cap?

Train against Sir Barrold and enable the percentage-of-damage-cap display. Cygames states that if the percentage reaches 100% or higher, adding additional cap-boosting effects can increase your damage.

Are Tyranny and Stamina still good?

Yes when you need more offensive power to reach your ceiling. They become less valuable when your relevant attacks are already heavily overcapped and the same slots could provide Damage Cap, post-cap effects, utility, or survival.

Is War Elemental still worth using?

Yes. War Elemental makes your attacks count as the superior element and remains a valuable general offensive effect. Ver. 2.0.6 also fixed an issue affecting the Trait Level of some War Elemental Sigils.

Should I use a glass-cannon or high-HP build?

Use the setup that matches your weapon condition and your ability to survive the target content. High-HP builds have become substantially more competitive in Endless Ragnarok because Transcendence and Master Traits can convert durability into meaningful offensive value.

What are the best utility traits?

Improved Dodge, Auto Revive, Guts, Quick Cooldown, Cascade, Uplift, HP, guarding support, and Potion Hoarder can all be valuable. Their priority depends on the character and the reason your runs are failing.

Do Summons matter for builds?

Yes. Cygames allows up to four Summons to be equipped, and each Summon has its own trait. Summons therefore create another layer for fitting valuable offensive or utility effects into a finished setup.

Should AI teammates use the same build as my main character?

Usually not. AI builds benefit more from consistency, survivability, reliable weapon conditions, and skills the AI handles well. Extremely technical or risky player builds may perform worse under AI control.

Are old Relink build guides still usable?

They can still teach character fundamentals, but their gear recommendations should be treated carefully. Endless Ragnarok added too many new systems for a pre-expansion endgame loadout to remain completely current.

Conclusion

The best Granblue Relink builds are no longer created by copying the same Terminus Weapon and Sigil package onto every character.

Endless Ragnarok has made buildcrafting much deeper.

Weapon Transcendence determines which conditions you want to build around. Master Traits can fundamentally change a character's playstyle. Summons provide four additional sources of traits. New Chaos and Celestial Sigils push damage beyond the old limits, while Sir Barrold's damage-cap display finally gives players a practical way to see whether their stats are actually helping.

The most important rule is simple:

Build around what your character does best, then test whether every slot is accomplishing something.

Sandalphon should maximize his enhanced combat states. Charlotta should protect her exceptional uptime. Eustace should exploit ranged pressure and skill flow. Cagliostro should improve both personal and party output. Tweyen should capitalize on safe ranged damage. Fediel must now build around the intended Enhanced Combo Finisher progression after Ver. 2.0.5. Narmaya should support stance and butterfly execution instead of chasing theoretical numbers she cannot consistently land.

Do not be afraid to trade a tiny amount of theoretical DPS for Improved Dodge, additional HP, cooldown utility, or another effect that makes the build work reliably. A successful Chaos++ clear is worth more than a perfect training-dummy screenshot.

As you continue refining weapons, Sigils, Master Traits, Summons, and endgame progression, BoostRoom can help you move deeper into Granblue Fantasy: Relink while you concentrate on mastering the characters and builds you enjoy most.
