How Division 2 gear farming works

Every Division 2 gear farming order is completed on your own character, so the items are yours from the moment they drop.

  • Self-play: you join the booster's group and play the activities that drop your gear. It suits raid and incursion exotics, where you are present for the loot.

  • Piloted: the booster farms on your character while you take a break. It suits long farms such as gear sets, named items and Prototype gear.

Read the outcome on each offer before you order. A package can guarantee a specific item, a set number of random drops or a fixed number of runs, and those are priced very differently.

Before you order

Check these points so your Division 2 gear farming order starts without delays:

  • A level 40 agent: endgame gear, raids, incursions and Legendary content all need one.

  • Weekly loot status: tell the seller if you have already looted a raid or incursion this week, because some rewards only drop once per week.

  • Project progress: for project exotics such as Regulus, share which steps and materials you already have.

  • Inventory space: clear room for every item in the order.

  • Platform: choose PC, PlayStation or Xbox, because offers and prices are listed per platform.

Division 2 gear farming FAQ

Does a raid clear guarantee Eagle Bearer?

No. A clear covers the completed raid, while the exotic follows the game's normal loot rules. Order the Eagle Bearer boost for the weapon itself, or see Division 2 raids and endgame for the clear.

What is the difference between a build and gear set farming?

Gear set farming gets you the pieces of one set. A build delivers a complete loadout, with every slot, weapon, talent and roll matched to the build named in the offer.

Does farming all six set pieces give a six-piece bonus?

No. Gear set bonuses activate at two, three and four pieces, and the set's chest and backpack add their own talents. Six pieces give you every slot of the set to choose from.

Do Prototype gear packages come with guaranteed rolls?

Only when the offer lists them. Packages of random Prototype items deliver the number of items stated, while targeted offers name the item you get.

Is Division 2 gear farming the same as Division 2 items?

No. Gear farming earns the items on your own character. Division 2 items are handed over by a seller in your group during a live session.

Can I learn to build my own loadout instead?

Yes. Division 2 coaching includes lessons on gear sets, talents, attributes and loadout planning.
