Access to the Shattered Realm through the Forgotten Gods campaign. If you haven't reached it yet, add a Grim Dawn campaign boost.
For piloted orders on high Ultimate shards, a character with the gear for that shard. If yours isn't there yet, choose self-play and get carried in co-op.

How long a Grim Dawn Shattered Realm boost takes
Every Grim Dawn Shattered Realm boost offer shows the seller's delivery time. Single shard clears and one farming run are usually done in one session, while full progression to the high 30s on Ultimate and five-run packages take the longest.

Yes. Your character keeps its progress, so your Waystones give access to deeper shards on every run after the order.
What happens if the realm timer runs out?
Some of the treasure is lost, so boosters finish each run before the timer ends. You get the full rewards for every shard in your order.
Is the Shattered Realm or the Crucible better for gear?
