Rainbow Six Siege Legend Division is a Solo Queue-only competition for eligible Champion players. This guide explains its rank, reputation, security, region, leaderboard, and reward requirements.

Legend Division is a high-level competitive playlist introduced with Operation Split Fire. It gives the strongest eligible players a dedicated Solo Queue environment with regional leaderboards and placement-based rewards.
Champion remains part of the regular Ranked ladder and serves as a requirement for entering Legend Division. Reaching Champion alone does not guarantee access because players must also satisfy previous-season rank, reputation, account-security, and PC platform-security conditions.
Legend Division should therefore be understood as a separate elite competition built on top of Ranked progression, not as a replacement for ordinary Ranked matches.
Champion is the highest qualifying rank in standard Ranked. Legend Division is the additional Solo Queue competition available to qualified Champion players.
The important distinction is:
Ranked allows eligible squads under its normal restrictions.
Legend Division only permits Solo Queue.
Champion is earned through regular Ranked progression.
Legend Division uses regional leaderboards.
Legend-specific rewards depend on leaderboard standing.
Players still need to reach Champion before they can compete as a Legend.
Premade squads can build rehearsed strategies, fixed roles, and established communication systems. Solo Queue removes that advantage and tests how well players can cooperate with unfamiliar teammates.
Success requires more than mechanical skill. Legend players must adapt their Operator choice, communicate quickly, support different playstyles, and make useful decisions without relying on a regular team.

Players must satisfy all applicable requirements before entering Legend Division:
Hold Champion rank in the current season
Have reached at least Platinum during the previous season
Maintain a positive reputation standing
Enable app-based two-step verification
Complete the required account-security checks
Meet R6 ShieldGuard Secure Platform requirements on PC
Enter the playlist alone
Lock a competitive region when joining
Missing one condition can prevent access even if every other requirement has been completed.
Players must reach Champion during the active season before entering Legend Division.
Reaching Champion in an older season does not replace this requirement. Legend access checks the player’s current competitive status.
The published rules do not fully explain what happens if a player loses Champion status after entering Legend Division. Players should treat the live eligibility indicator as the final authority instead of assuming access will remain permanently unlocked.
Players must also have reached Platinum or higher during the season immediately before the current one.
This condition prevents an account from entering the highest competitive playlist based on one sudden climb alone. It requires evidence of high-level performance across consecutive seasons.
Players do not need to have been Champion during the previous season. Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, or Champion should satisfy the published previous-season rank requirement.
Legend Division requires a positive reputation standing.
The published overview does not provide a separate numerical threshold or reputation score specifically for Legend Division. Players should check the eligibility panel attached to the playlist to confirm whether their current standing qualifies.
Repeated abandonment, disruptive communication, griefing, or other sanctions may interfere with access. Improving reputation should be treated as a long-term behavior requirement rather than something that can be repaired immediately before queuing.
An authenticator application must be connected to the player’s account for two-step verification.
Players should not assume that email verification or another basic account check automatically satisfies this condition. Legend Division specifically requires authenticator-based protection.
After activating it:
Store recovery codes somewhere secure.
Confirm that generated codes work before leaving the setup page.
Do not share verification codes or QR setup keys.
Update recovery information when changing phones.
Keep access to the email address connected to the account.
Losing access to both the authenticator and recovery methods can create an account-recovery problem unrelated to Legend Division.
PC players must pass R6 ShieldGuard Secure Platform verification.
The required Windows security features are:
Secure Boot
TPM 2.0
Windows Memory Integrity, also called HVCI
Temporary administrative permission for verification
These features must be supported, enabled, and correctly detected. Having a compatible motherboard or processor is not enough if the corresponding setting remains disabled.
Secure Boot checks trusted software during the startup process and helps prevent unauthorized components from loading before Windows.
Players can normally review its status through Windows System Information. The system should use UEFI mode and display Secure Boot as enabled.
If Secure Boot is unavailable, the cause may involve firmware configuration, Legacy or CSM boot mode, unsupported hardware, or an outdated firmware version.
Do not reset Secure Boot certificates or change unrelated boot settings simply to make the status appear enabled.
TPM 2.0 is a hardware-backed security requirement used by ShieldGuard.
Windows may identify it as a security processor. Players can inspect its status through Windows Security or the TPM management panel and confirm that the specification version is 2.0.
The setting may have a different name in motherboard firmware, including Intel PTT or AMD fTPM. Use documentation for the exact motherboard, laptop, or system model rather than copying settings from an unrelated device.
Memory Integrity is found under Core Isolation in Windows Security. It protects important Windows processes by isolating them from potentially unsafe low-level software.
Older or incompatible drivers may prevent it from being enabled. When that happens, update or remove the identified incompatible driver through Windows Update, Device Manager, or the hardware manufacturer.
Avoid deleting system drivers manually unless the component and recovery method are fully understood.
ShieldGuard requires temporary administrative permission to verify the necessary PC security settings.
Players should expect this verification step when entering Legend Division. If the request does not appear or fails repeatedly, restart the game platform and inspect the eligibility panel before changing additional firmware settings.
Before changing Secure Boot or TPM settings:
Back up the BitLocker recovery key if drive encryption is enabled.
Confirm that Windows already uses UEFI boot mode.
Record the original firmware settings.
Use instructions for the exact PC or motherboard model.
Install relevant Windows and firmware updates.
Avoid clearing the TPM or resetting Secure Boot keys without a specific reason.
Contact the device manufacturer if the required options are missing.
Firmware changes can trigger a BitLocker recovery prompt. A player who cannot retrieve the recovery key may be unable to access the encrypted Windows drive.
Once every requirement has been completed, the player can use the Legend Division entry point in the competitive menu.
The general process is:
Reach Champion in the current Ranked season.
Confirm that the previous-season Platinum requirement is complete.
Check the account’s reputation status.
Enable authenticator-based two-step verification.
Complete ShieldGuard checks when playing on PC.
Review and confirm the displayed region.
Enter the playlist without a squad.
The playlist eligibility panel should identify incomplete requirements. Players should resolve the listed failure instead of repeatedly attempting to queue.
Legend Division uses regional leaderboards. When entering the competition, players lock their region and compete against other eligible players assigned to that region.
The region should be checked carefully before confirmation because it cannot be freely changed after being locked for that competition.
A regional lock prevents players from moving between leaderboards to search for an easier placement. It also makes the leaderboard more representative of performance within each competitive region.
All players can view the regional leaderboards, including players who are not eligible to participate.
Legend Division cannot be entered with a friend, duo, or full squad.
Players may still communicate and coordinate with teammates assigned through matchmaking, but they cannot bring a premade group into the queue.
Trying to invite teammates or remain in a squad can prevent the playlist from becoming selectable.
If Legend Division remains locked, check:
Current rank
Previous-season highest rank
Reputation standing
Authenticator-based two-step verification
Secure Boot status on PC
TPM version and status on PC
Windows Memory Integrity status on PC
Administrative verification permission
Whether the player is currently in a squad
Whether a region has been confirmed correctly
If every requirement appears complete but the playlist still reports an eligibility error, use official support rather than changing unrelated security settings.
Legend Division uses separate regional leaderboards to display the strongest participating Solo Queue players.
Eligible players begin establishing their position by playing Legend Division matches. Their standing can rise or fall as competition continues and other players complete additional matches.
The leaderboard is visible publicly in-game, allowing the wider community to follow the leading players even without qualifying for the playlist.
Legend standing represents a player’s position in that regional competition. It should not be confused with:
Career account level
Previous Champion placement
Standard Ranked progression
Reputation level
Competitive Rewards progress
Global performance across every region
Changing position on the Legend leaderboard does not rewrite previous-season rank history.
The published Legend Division overview confirms that matches determine leaderboard standing but does not provide a complete public formula explaining the weight of wins, losses, kills, K/D, opponents, or match volume.

Players should not present an unofficial scoring formula as confirmed.
The safest competitive approach is to prioritize winning rounds and matches. Chasing eliminations at the expense of the objective may produce attractive personal statistics without delivering the result the team needs.
Two Legend-specific reward types have been announced:
A dynamic banner displaying the player’s standing
A placement charm for players who finish inside the regional top 100
These rewards recognize leaderboard performance rather than simply reaching Champion.
Legend players receive a dynamic banner that displays their leaderboard standing.
Because the banner reflects position, it provides a visible way to show current competitive progress. A player’s displayed standing can change as the leaderboard moves.
The banner should not be confused with the top-100 charm. Participating in Legend Division can provide the dynamic banner, while the charm has a stricter final-placement condition.
Players who finish inside the top 100 receive a charm displaying their final leaderboard position.
The critical word is finish. Briefly reaching 87th place and later falling outside the top 100 does not secure the reward.
The charm is based on the final regional standings and is awarded during the following season. Players should verify that the final position shown in-game remains within the qualifying range.
The official Legend Division overview names the dynamic banner and top-100 placement charm as its dedicated rewards.
Players should not assume Legend Division automatically grants additional currency, packs, weapon skins, headgear, or guaranteed esports opportunities unless those rewards are explicitly displayed in the live interface.
Rainbow Six Siege’s normal Ranked Competitive Rewards system is separate from the Legend-specific leaderboard rewards.
Legend Division rewards consistent Solo Queue performance. Players must contribute to unfamiliar team compositions without expecting every teammate to follow the same strategy.
Prepare several Operators for different responsibilities on both sides.
Useful attacking roles include:
Hard breach
Utility removal
Entry support
Information gathering
Flank control
Plant support
Useful defensive roles include:
Site setup
Entry denial
Information
Anti-breach utility
Roaming
Plant denial
A player who can only perform one role may leave the team without an essential tool when another teammate selects the same Operator or responsibility.
Solo Queue communication should be fast and specific.
Useful calls identify:
Enemy location
Operator identity
Health information when known
Utility already used
Defuser location
Open rotations
Safe plant positions
Flank timing
Avoid filling voice chat with complaints, lengthy explanations, or uncertain information during an active engagement.
Legend Division is still a team-based tactical mode.
Stay close enough to trade important gunfights, protect the defuser carrier, preserve drones, and coordinate utility before entering defended areas. An isolated elimination attempt can leave the remaining team in an unwinnable position.
Objective pressure is usually more valuable than chasing a low-health opponent away from the site.
Use the selection phase to identify what the lineup lacks.
If teammates already provide fragging power, choose information or objective utility. If the defense has no reliable site setup, cover that responsibility before selecting a roaming Operator.
Flexible decisions are particularly valuable when there is no premade squad leader assigning roles.
Reputation is an entry condition, but good conduct also improves team performance.
Avoid retaliatory team damage, intentional utility destruction, abusive communication, and unnecessary abandonment. Muting one disruptive player is usually more productive than turning the match into an argument.
Champion is only one requirement. Previous-season rank, reputation, two-step verification, ShieldGuard, and Solo Queue restrictions can still block entry.
Legend Division requires an authenticator application. Do not assume another verification method will satisfy the eligibility check.
PC players also need Windows Memory Integrity or HVCI. ShieldGuard verification can fail when one required feature remains disabled.
Secure Boot and TPM changes can trigger drive-encryption recovery. Confirm access to the BitLocker recovery key before modifying firmware.
Leaderboard competition is regional, and the selection becomes locked. Review the displayed region carefully before confirming it.
Legend Division is Solo Queue-only. Leave the current squad before checking whether the playlist is available.
The placement charm is tied to the final standings. Reaching the top 100 temporarily does not guarantee it.
Ubisoft has not published a complete scoring formula that guarantees leaderboard gains from individual statistics. Prioritize round wins, trades, plants, denial, and useful team decisions.

Yes. Regional Legend Division leaderboards can be viewed even by players who are not eligible to compete.
A player must finish within the top 100 of the regional Legend Division leaderboard. Merely reaching the top 100 temporarily is not sufficient.
The dynamic banner displays the Legend player’s leaderboard standing.
Rainbow Six Siege Legend Division creates a dedicated competitive goal beyond reaching Champion.
Its requirements are deliberately strict. Players need sustained Ranked performance, positive reputation, authenticator-based account security, and additional ShieldGuard protection on PC. They must then compete without a premade squad on a locked regional leaderboard.
The dynamic banner gives qualified players a visible measure of their standing, while the placement charm creates a meaningful reward for finishing inside the top 100.
Players preparing for Legend Division should focus on eligibility first, then build the communication, flexibility, objective discipline, and mental consistency required for elite Solo Queue competition.
