Farm the Remaining Crackling Shards

Ten Crackling Shards are required to create a Storm Vessel. These Warband-bound items have a low random chance to drop from eligible enemies across the Isle of Dorn.

Because the shards are Warband-bound, progress from different characters can be combined through your Warband storage. Confirm the total number you already own before choosing your package.

Shard drops depend on RNG. The completion estimate can therefore change according to your starting progress and drop luck.

Create the Storm Vessel and Defeat Alunira

After all ten Crackling Shards are collected, they are combined into a Storm Vessel. Using the vessel removes Alunira’s Protective Stormshroud and makes the rare attackable.

The final step must be completed by the character using the Storm Vessel because the mount reward is personal to the eligible vessel user. Once learned, Alunira becomes available through your account-wide mount collection.

The receiving character should not already be locked to Alunira’s rare loot when the Storm Vessel is used.
