Reach the Construction Level You Need
Construction is one of the most useful account-progression skills because higher levels unlock increasingly powerful features inside your Player-Owned House.
Choose a target based on the content you want to unlock.
Target Construction Level
A level-based service can be used when you need Construction for:
A quest or Achievement Diary requirement
Better Player-Owned House facilities
Higher-level teleport options
Restoration facilities
Storage upgrades
Achievement Gallery features
Level 99 Construction
Another specific milestone
Select an offer covering your current Construction level through your required target.
Construction XP
If you already know exactly how much experience you need, choose a fixed XP package.
This can be more suitable than a full level-range service when you are already close to your desired Construction milestone.
Choose Your Construction Training Method
Construction can be trained in several very different ways. The main trade-off is normally between training speed, material cost and interaction required.
Mahogany Tables
Mahogany Tables are a high-speed traditional Construction method.
They become available at 52 Construction and award substantial XP each time they are built. This method uses large quantities of mahogany planks, making material cost an important part of the order.
Choose Mahogany Tables when your priority is fast Construction progression and your account has the required GP or materials.
Mythical Cape Racks
A mounted Mythical Cape becomes available at 47 Construction after completing Dragon Slayer II.
Building it requires teak planks and provides 370 Construction XP per build, making it a common alternative for players looking for a cheaper teak-based method than mahogany training.
Choose this method when your account already has the required quest completion and Mythical Cape access.
Mahogany Homes
Mahogany Homes provides a more material-efficient alternative to repeatedly building furniture inside your own house.
Contracts are available in four tiers:
Beginner — level 1
Novice — level 20
Adept — level 50
Expert — level 70
Contracts use regular, oak, teak or mahogany planks depending on the selected tier. Completing them awards Construction XP and Carpenter Points.
Mahogany Homes generally provides lower XP rates than high-speed furniture methods but uses planks more efficiently, making it useful when material cost matters more than maximum speed.
Choose Speed or Material Efficiency
Different buyers need different Construction methods.
Choose Mahogany Tables when faster XP is the priority.
Choose Mythical Cape Racks when you have the required unlock and want a teak-based alternative.
Choose Mahogany Homes when you want better XP per plank and are comfortable with slower progression.
The exact cost and completion time depend on your starting level, target and selected method.
Player-Owned House Progression
Higher Construction levels can unlock important quality-of-life improvements inside your house.
These can include teleport facilities, spellbook altars, restoration pools, storage and other high-level house features.
For example, the Ornate Rejuvenation Pool has a base Construction requirement of 90 and can restore special attack energy, run energy, Prayer, Hitpoints and reduced stats while also curing poison and venom.
If your goal is reaching a particular POH milestone rather than level 99, choose the exact Construction target needed for that build.
Materials and GP Requirements
Construction can consume a large amount of GP because most traditional training methods require substantial quantities of planks.
Before ordering, check whether your selected offer expects:
Planks already available
Enough GP to purchase materials
A hammer and saw
Butler access
Specific quest unlocks
A Player-Owned House
Other training supplies
Do not assume materials are automatically included in the service price unless the listing explicitly says so.
If you need additional currency for Construction materials, browse BoostRoom's OSRS Gold category.
OSRS Gold
Main and Ironman Construction
Main Accounts
Main accounts can generally obtain planks and other tradeable materials directly, giving them the widest choice of fast Construction methods.
The main decision is usually how much GP you want to spend compared with how quickly you want to level.
Ironman Accounts
Ironman, Hardcore Ironman, Ultimate Ironman and Group Ironman accounts may have more limited access to prepared planks and other resources.
Mahogany Homes can be particularly useful when material efficiency matters, but the required resources still need to be available on the account.
Choose an offer designed for your account type and existing supplies.
Mahogany Homes Rewards
Mahogany Homes contracts also provide Carpenter Points, which can be spent in the activity's reward shop.
Depending on your selected offer, your objective may include:
Construction XP
A specific number of contracts
Carpenter Points
Mahogany Homes progression
Another clearly stated activity objective
Activity rewards should only be considered included when the selected marketplace offer explicitly lists them.
