What Is The Only Way?

The Only Way is a major Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity story release launched on May 12, 2026. It added five chapters, the Eternity’s Garden map, two legendary accessories, new Masteries, combat relics and additional expansion rewards.

The story continues the journey through Castora as the Commander and their allies move deeper into the island in pursuit of the Inquest. The five included chapters are:

1. On the Threshold

2. Within Your Grasp

3. Divitium Nava

5. So It Is Written

These are chapters nine through thirteen of the complete Visions of Eternity storyline.

The Commander investigates recent developments, contacts their allies and begins travelling deeper into Castora. The chapter moves from Starlit Weald towards Eternity’s Garden and introduces the next stage of the pursuit of Vloxx.

On the Threshold follows Path of Divinity, the final chapter of Visions of Eternity: Act 2. The selected character should therefore have completed the preceding story or meet the starting requirements displayed in the offer.

Within Your Grasp

Within Your Grasp continues the expedition through Eternity’s Garden.

This chapter combines story instances with activities in the new open-world zone. Players assist their allies, investigate Inquest activity and progress towards the ancient seer locations hidden deeper within Castora.

The service can complete the required story objectives without including unrelated map completion or optional achievement collections unless those additions are selected separately.

Divitium Nava

Divitium Nava takes the story into ancient seer locations and includes a mixture of exploration, interaction, puzzles and trial-based objectives.

Standard story completion focuses on the mandatory steps needed to advance the chapter. Optional achievements involving perfect trial performance, hidden interactions or additional collections belong to The Only Way Achievement Boost unless explicitly added to the order.

A Bold Strategy

A Bold Strategy continues the conflict with the Inquest and advances the Commander’s plan alongside their allies.

So It Is Written

So It Is Written is the fifth and final chapter of The Only Way and the thirteenth chapter of the overall Visions of Eternity storyline.
