How it changes the order

Boss

Any Nemesis boss, Celestial or secret boss

Celestials and secret bosses are the hardest fights, so they cost the most.

Difficulty

Ultimate or Ascendant Mode

Ascendant Mode Celestials are far stronger, so they cost more.

Method

Self-play or piloted

Self-play: you join the fight in an online co-op game while the booster takes the boss down. Piloted: the booster kills the boss on your character for you.

Character mode

Softcore or hardcore

Hardcore characters can't be revived, so hardcore offers usually cost more.

Platform

PC or Xbox

Matches you with a booster on your platform.

Bosses

How they appear

Nemesis bosses

Valdaran, Benn'Jhar, Grava'Thul, Fabius Gonzar, Moosilauke, Kubacabra, Zantarin, the Iron Maiden, Archmage Aleksander, Reaper of the Lost, Kaisan and the Fangs of Asterkarn Nemeses

Spawn in their faction's areas once you reach Nemesis rank with that faction.

Celestials

Avatar of Mogdrogen, the Ravager, Callagadra

Mogdrogen and the Ravager come from faction quests, and Callagadra is summoned with a special item.

Secret bosses

Crate of Entertainment, Lokarr, Clone of John Bourbon, Rashalga the Mad Queen

Hidden encounters behind secret quests, mostly on Ultimate.

What a Grim Dawn boss boost gets you

These bosses guard some of the best loot in the game, and most players need many attempts to beat them:

  • Nemesis chests: a very high chance of an Epic item and better odds of blueprints and legendaries.

  • Celestial loot: unique gear and blueprints, such as the Ravager's helm, whose tier depends on the difficulty.

  • Limited attempts: quest bosses such as the Avatar of Mogdrogen can be fought once per character on each difficulty, so a failed attempt costs a chance.

  • Build-checking fights: Callagadra and Crate of Entertainment are among the toughest fights in the game for most builds.

Requirements

Before you order a Grim Dawn boss boost, make sure you have:

  • Grim Dawn on PC or Xbox, plus the expansion your boss belongs to, and Fangs of Asterkarn for Ascendant Mode kills. Missing one? Get it from our Grim Dawn game keys page.

  • For Nemesis bosses, Nemesis rank with their faction. If you're not there yet, add a Grim Dawn reputation boost.

  • For quest bosses, the quest unlocked. The Ravager, for example, needs Honored with Barrowholm and The Feast completed.

  • For Ascendant Mode kills, a level 100 character on Ultimate.

How it works

  1. Choose your boss, difficulty, method, character mode and platform, then pick a seller's offer.

  2. Complete checkout. The seller contacts you on BoostRoom to agree on a start time.

  3. Share your quest progress and faction ranks, so the booster can reach the boss.

  4. The booster kills the boss and sends an update with the loot.

  5. Check the kill and your loot in game, then confirm the order is complete.

How long a Grim Dawn boss boost takes

Every Grim Dawn boss boost offer shows the seller's delivery time. Most Nemesis kills are quick once the boss spawns, while Celestials, secret bosses and Ascendant Mode kills take longer to set up and fight.

Grim Dawn boss boost FAQ

Can I choose which Ravager I fight?

Not on the same character and difficulty. The quest sets the version, whether it's the Ravager of Flesh, of the Mind or of Souls. To fight another version, order a kill on another character or difficulty.

Why doesn't my Nemesis boss spawn?

Nemesis bosses only appear once you reach Nemesis rank with their faction, and they're rare even then. A reputation boost gets you to Nemesis rank first.

Can I order Ascendant Mode bosses?

Yes. Celestials and Crate of Entertainment can be ordered as Ascendant Mode kills here. For The Dread, Beronath, Tempest Totems and other Ascendant-only content, see the Grim Dawn Ascendant Mode boost.

Can I learn to beat these bosses myself?

Yes. Book a boss strategy session through Grim Dawn coaching for the Ravager, Callagadra or Crate of Entertainment.
