Options
Prices are set by each seller and depend on these choices.
Option | Choices | How it changes the order |
|---|---|---|
Faction | Hyenas, True Sons, Outcasts, Cleaners, Rikers, or another faction the offer lists | Each faction drops its own materials and blueprints. |
Difficulty | Any world difficulty up to Heroic | Higher difficulties pay better rewards and better blueprint odds, so they cost more. |
Runs | One run, or several in one order | Each extra run adds a full set of completion rewards and to the price. |
Method | Self-play or piloted | Self-play: you join the booster's group for each run. Piloted: the booster completes the runs on your character while you take a break. |
Platform | PC, PlayStation or Xbox | Offers and prices are listed separately for each platform. |
How a Retaliation run works
Every run in a Division 2 Retaliation boost follows the same pattern:
Killing a faction's enemies and doing activities fills its agitation meter, shown on the Retaliation tab of the map.
When the meter is full, the faction attacks a named zone and a timer starts.
The booster retakes each Control Point by beating three waves, the last led by a named enemy. Every capture adds time to the clock.
Kill Squads ambush the group along the way. Beating them, and finishing optional Maneuvers, adds more time, while deaths cost time.
Retaking the whole zone completes the run and pays out the completion rewards.
Retaliation factions and materials
Faction | Materials the runs drop |
|---|---|
Hyenas | Crystallized Spice |
True Sons | Military Dog Tags |
Outcasts | Biohazardous Canisters |
Cleaners | Burning Ash |
Rikers | Crossed Balaclava |
These materials, together with Exotic Components, craft the faction's exotic blueprints.
Requirements
Before you order a Division 2 Retaliation boost, make sure you have:
A level 40 character. Need to get there first? See the Division 2 character leveling boost.
For Cleaners or Rikers runs, access to New York and Brooklyn, where those factions attack.
For self-play, a build that can survive your chosen difficulty. Need one? See the Division 2 builds boost.
How it works
Choose your faction, difficulty, number of runs, method and platform, then pick a seller's offer.
Complete checkout. The seller contacts you on BoostRoom to agree on a time.
For self-play, join the booster's group. For piloted, the booster plays the runs on your character.
The booster charges the faction's meter, wins each Retaliation and updates you after every run.
Check your completions and rewards in game, then confirm the order is complete.
How long a Division 2 Retaliation boost takes
Every offer shows the seller's delivery time. Each run is short and timed, but the faction's meter has to be filled before a run can start, so an order with several runs takes longer. Charges you already have can make the order quicker.
Division 2 Retaliation boost FAQ
What is the difference between a Retaliation boost and materials farming?
This page sells successful runs, and you keep whatever materials they drop. For a set amount of Burning Ash, Military Dog Tags or other faction materials, order Division 2 materials farming.
Does a Retaliation run guarantee an exotic blueprint?
No. Completions and Kill Squads give a chance at a faction blueprint, with better odds on higher difficulties. To order a specific exotic, see the Division 2 exotic weapons boost or the Division 2 exotic armor boost.
Do I need a full agitation meter before ordering?
No. The booster can fill the meter during the order. Charges you have already built up let the first runs start straight away.
Can I choose the faction?
Yes. Pick the faction whose materials and blueprints you want. Cleaners and Rikers runs need access to New York and Brooklyn.
Can I play Retaliation with the booster?
Yes. On a self-play order you join the booster's group, and the whole group shares the timer and the rewards of each run.
