Guild Wars 2 currently has two major permanent Skyscale acquisition routes.

The Secrets of the Obscure route uses the A New Friend achievement. This route includes the required Skyscale egg progression, Skyscale Egg Infusions, Skyscale Growing Comforts, Skyscale Saddle Materials, and the Flight Training progression required by the achievement. The account must own Secrets of the Obscure and have the required story and mastery system access.

The original Living World Season 4 route begins after War Eternal and progresses through the original Skyscale collection chain, including Newborn Skyscales, Saving Skyscales, Raising Skyscales, Troublesome Skyscales, and Riding Skyscales. This route requires Path of Fire plus access to the required Living World Season 4 content and related currencies / materials.

The original Path of Fire Skyscale mastery track contains Air Rescue, Rift Repair, and Wall Launch and requires 12 Path of Fire mastery points in total. Rift Repair is the second tier and requires the earlier Air Rescue tier first, for 7 mastery points cumulatively.

The Secrets of the Obscure Flight Training track contains seven tiers: Who Rescues Whom?, Fireball, Wall Spring, Enhanced Updrafts, Combat Launch, Ley-Line Acclimation, and Rising Spirits. Full completion requires 25 Secrets of the Obscure mastery points plus the corresponding mastery experience.

Training both the original Path of Fire Skyscale mastery track and the Secrets of the Obscure Flight Training track provides the complete set of Skyscale movement and bonus interactions available from those two mastery systems.

For partial-progress offers, all earlier prerequisites must already be completed. If the account is missing required expansion access, story progress, mastery points, currencies, or collection materials, contact us before ordering.
