The Binding of Ipos is the Generation 2 legendary focus. The final Mystic Forge recipe uses:

• Gift of Maguuma Mastery OR Gift of Desert Mastery

PRECURSOR STRUCTURE
Unlike the first four Generation 2 legendary weapons, Binding of Ipos does not use themed precursor achievement collections. Its precursor is crafted sequentially:
• Mark of the Unnamed — Artificer 450
• The True Name — Artificer 450
• Ars Goetia — Artificer 500

The precursor recipes are purchased from Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs in order. The True Name requires Mark of the Unnamed first, and Ars Goetia requires The True Name first.

SHARDS OF THE DARK ARTS
A fresh full precursor chain consumes:
• 30 Shards for Mark of the Unnamed
• 60 Shards for The True Name
• 100 Shards for Ars Goetia
Gift of Ipos separately requires another 100 Shards of the Dark Arts.

GIFT OF IPOS
Gift of Ipos combines:
• Gift of the Mists
• 100 Mystic Runestones
• 100 Shards of the Dark Arts
• Gift of Energy
Gift of the Mists includes Gift of Battle as one of its components.

MASTERY ROUTE
Binding of Ipos accepts either Gift of Maguuma Mastery or Gift of Desert Mastery. Existing HoT or PoF progress can therefore determine the faster route.

MATERIAL POLICY
Tradeable crafting materials, gold, Mystic Coins, Globs of Ectoplasm, Mystic Runestones, Spiritwood components, Mystic Curios and other purchasable ingredients are not automatically included unless the selected offer explicitly says so. Required materials must already be available on the account or be arranged separately.

All eligible rewards, currencies, account-bound components and drops earned during the service remain on the account.
